For today I have prepared a video from Bali. It’s been a while, 6 months, since we came back, but I completely forgot about it. We had some amazing memories and it would have been a pity to keep it for myself.

Also, this week I will post another vlog from our short roat trip in Europe, where we have seen: Prague, Austria and Hungary. I have some other ideas too, but let’s take them step by step ♥

De-a lungul timpului am tot fost intrebata cu ce anume imi albesc dintii sau ce folosesc pentru a ii avea albi. Astazi a venit timpul sa va povestesc despre experientele mele si desigur despre deciziile pe care le-am luat, dar si despre ce am ajuns sa folosesc in prezent si ma multumeste cel mai mult.

Sa incepem cu inceputul: sincera sa fiu, am fost destul de norocoasa si dintii mei au fost destul de albi de cand ma stiu, doar aparatul dentar nu a lipsit din copilaria mea, dar pentru care acum ii multumesc mamei mele ♥. Cu timpul insa, in urma consumarii anumitor alimente ce pateaza dintii precum: Coca Cola, ciocolata, fructe de padure, in special zmeura si mure, dudele acelea coape pe care le mancam direct din pom cand eram mici, iar de curand am introdus cafeaua in “meniul” meu zilnic, iar in weekend mai mult, recunosc apelez poate si la un pahar de vin rosu, dintii mei au fost usor afectati.

Nu doar culoarea acestora a fost o problema pentru dintii mei, ci si sensibilitatea cu care ma confrunt de cand am incercat benzile pentru albire ( la acea vreme era un brand, nu ii mai stiu exact numele care avea in compozitie o cantitate foarte mare de peroxid ce ataca smaltul dentar) ori de cate ori mananc produse alimentare cu o aciditate ridicata si clasica rensibilitate la cald/rece.

In urma testarii multor produse, am ajuns sa folosesc Lacalut Sensitive de care am fost si sunt in continuare foarte multumita. Era exact ce aveam nevoie fiindca imi scazuse foarte mult sensibilitatea cu care ma confruntam.

Spun “era” fiindca de aproximativ 3 luni am inceput sa folosesc o noua pasta de dinti Lacalut, mai exact White & Repair si tot de atunci am introdus in rutina zilnica si apa de gura medicinala Lacalut White. Recunosc, inainte nu foloseam apa de gura cu atata seriozitate, desi nu este un lucru care sa imi aduca cinste.

Aveam nevoie de un produs care sa ma ajute sa obtin albul natural al dintilor, fiindca totusi, obiceiurile noastre de zi cu zi nu sunt tocmai cele mai bune pentru dantura si in egala masura acest produs sa imi tina si sensibilitatea sub control. Lacalut White & Repair previne demineralizarea cu ajutorul hidroxiapatitei, component de baza al smaltului dentar, ingrijind si netezind astfel dintii, iar apa de gura medicinala Lacalut White, nu face decat sa ofere un sprijin in plus in albirea dintilor pastrand sanatatea si rezistenta acestora.

Sunt tare curioasa cate dintre voi va confruntati cu aceeasi problema si desigur daca ati descoperit alte solutii pentru tratarea acestora. Orice sugestie este binevenita, cu atat mai mult cu cat poate ajuta mai multe persoane.

Today I want to turn back to the holiday we had in Bali and share some new details with you from the time we spent there. I was a bit busy and didn’t quite manage to deal with all the things after our return as planed, but I think that is never too late to share great memories with you that can also inspire you for the next trip you might plan.

While we were in Bali, in Seminyak to be more specific, we decided to spend one day at the Hard Rock Hotel Pool which is actually situated in Kuta and we had to get there by cab, but it was like 15 min away. We did not went there just for the pool, because as you can guess this place is not just about rooms where you can sleep and a pool where to relax.

Because the day was a bit cloudy and it rained in the morning, we first enjoyed the Traditional Balinese massage for couples. Since we were together, I thought it will be a bit strange to enjoy the massage only one at the time, because the other one would have stayed alone. In this way for one hour, we actually slept together hahaha and we charged our batteries because right after we finished we realized that the sun came out and it became a perfect day for the pool.

And so, another day in paradise has started right after we changed in our swimming suits, we went for lunch at their pool restaurant called Splash. The food was amazing and it was nothing unexpected since I also enjoy the food at Hard Rock Cafe in Bucharest. Sure, there is a small difference between them and I guess is due to the location they are placed, but in the end their principle is the same.

What was left? To spend the half of the day in the private cabana pool, to swim and get some Balinese tan :D, to enjoy some snacks from the basket they brought us and relax hearing the ocean waves because the pool is situated right across the street from the beach.

You can say that is was a pity to go to the pool when you have the Indian Ocean across the street, but believe me it was not. I don’t know if it is like this all year round, but during this season, the ocean currents are really strong and when I say this I mean it. It is really hard to keep your balance when the waves come and go and it is basically impossible to swim even for me with more than 12 years of professional swimming. The only moment when I was brave enough to go deeper into the ocean was when I had my surf lessons, but I was basically on the board and I was pushed by the instructor :)). Otherwise, I went into the water at a no more than a hip level let’s say and even more, the swimming was actually forbidden and  were flags all over the beach.

So, I hope you will enjoy my little story and also piece of advice: you can enjoy the beach and the Indian Ocean but remember to be careful, the currents are really strong. And if you are into sports, do some surf too But if you want to swim, to relax and make some bubbles go to Hard Rock Hotel :)) ♥

After a wonderful experience in Ubud, it was about time to explore another part of the Balinese island and we moved to Seminyak for the sun, tan & beach experience.

We decided that we will continue the private villa experience and checked in at Cicada Luxury Townhouses. I feel like this place needs no more introduction or any other detailed explanation because the pictures will speak for themselves but I will still talk a bit about it.

In these villas you will enjoy the luxury at its fullest. The modern villas and all the great details putted together give you the perfect holiday vibe with a feeling of “just like home”. Since we were two, obviously that we decided on one bedroom villa. This kind of villa come, as it is understood with one bedroom, one big living room with a small kitchen, a small private pool and an outfit bath ( beside the inside shower that was amazing too).

Beside that they have many facilities that most tourists want to enjoy while being on holiday: in room spa and beauty treatments, the big pool where you can swim, complementary a la carte breakfast either in the room or by the pool and all day in room dinning.

What I liked the most? I don’t know if I can answer to this question with only one thing, but I would say everything. But when I travel, I like to have big rooms with space to move between the luggage that I have. Also since I am the type of traveler that likes to visit almost all day long at some point when I get back to the accommodation I want to relax a bit before going to sleep and in this case I could do this either by the private pool or by taking a warm bubble bath that was right in front of our bedroom.

Also, do I have to tell you about their breakfast? You have to pick your favorite and they will bring it: American, Indonesian? They have it and believe me you also have to try their specific food because it is amazingly delicious. We try all of them because usually I like to enjoy the traditional food of each place I have the chance to visit because no where will be the same. Yes, we have restaurants nowadays with Indonesian food, but believe me, is not getting even closer to the original flavor.

And I will end my story about this amazing place by telling you that everything I wrote is really true and from my own experience. Coming as a proof is the fact that Cicada Luxury Townhouses was the winner of the Luxury Travel Guide, Global Awards in 2016 and now, in 2017 is between the nominees.

Can we ask for more? I don’t think so

Today I want to start…again, the story of our best holiday ever ( Until now). If Bangkok was a bit tricky and the 2 days we had there were not that super awesome, well, the moment we land in Bali changed everything.

Sure, there is only one small exception. At the moment we arrived, we should have been picked up by a driver but in that complete chaos at the airport we didn’t find each other and we decided to order Uber to get to our first stop in Ubud: Shamballa Moon Villa. We had the unpleasant surprise to order Uber twice and only after that to find out that Uber in Indonesia is quite forbidden and all the drivers accept the order but do not pick you up and even more they charge you a fee, because the drivers cancel the order as we are the ones that don’t show up.

But with all these experiences, we finally decided to pick a local cab and with a bit of uncertainty we arrived at the Villa around 9 p.m where they have been waiting for us with a traditional flower necklace and some super delicious melon juices. Even if it was late, since we were super tired but also super hungry, they were kind enough to cook us something fast and good like some pastas and we highly appreciated because it was not really on the “menu” :D.

Anyway, once we were settled we started to enjoy the place at it’s fullest. They told us to watch the sunrise because it is an amazing view, to try the local food because it’s delicious and it was prepared by the super nice lady, I know her name was Ylou and I hope I wrote it correctly, to enjoy a bath in the infinity pool no matter the hour and last but not least, to enjoy a Balinese massage followed by the most beautiful flower bath.

You will see all in the following pictures and we enjoyed them all at the villa because beside the accommodation, they can offer you the entire Balinese experience ♥ Believe me, it was that kind of experience that you will remember for ever and I really hope that soon we will have the chance to return at the Shamballa Villa because it was the only one that managed to make us feel the regret of leaving it, even if we had more entertaining things to do next.

Even more, Ylou’s husband was also our driver for the days we spent in Ubud and he took us to the main tourins attractions like: Monkey Frest, Cat Poochino, Holy Spring Temple, The Waterfall, a really nice restaurand near Ubud and he also told us stories about this island, about their traditions and it was really nice to understand the island from a local point of view.
