A while ago, someone and I am not going to give names, said that Off-White will no longer be fashionable but the latest items and the latest collaboration with IKEA drove people crazy… :)) I saw some incredible scenes from the stores and I am still seeing people wearing so many items design by Virgil Abloh.

I personally own a pair of sneakers and I love them. Maybe because it’s the only black pair sneakers that I actually own, but mostly because it has its own twist. You already know that I don’t like…. ” normal ” shoes :)) You can see them in the pictures and I am really curious to know if you like this brand or not.

And if you’re not familiar with the brand, I have to tell you that recently, Virgil Abloh created a special collection in collaboration with IKEA. No it’s not about fashion, clothing & shoes, but more about home deco and some classic paper bags with a twist :)). I randomly went to the store the same day the collection was launched and the bag was the only thing left :)) I have heard that people gathered in front of the store with hours before the opening and when the time has come and the doors had opened… well, it was like a run for their lives :)))

I, personally, don’t really get all the craziness around these special collections but don’t get me wrong. If I have the chance and I like something, I will buy it for sure, but not like this :))

Astazi m-am gandit sa va spun o mica poveste. Locul in care am facut aceste poze, este un loc de suflet pentru mine. Realist vorbind, cred ca au trecut 20 de ani de cand nu am mai calcat in Lacul/Delta Vacaresti. Suna socant, dar da, cu aproximatie, atatia ani au trecut.

De ce? Ei bine, mica fiind, imi amintesc cand mergeam cu tata si cu fratele meu in Delta! Motivul? Tata incerca sa pescuiasca ceva, insa imi amintesc ca cel mai mult prindea broaste iar eu cu fratele meu ne amplasam tacticos un cort, chiar daca durata vizitei era de cateva ore si cu drag imi amintesc ca mama ne pregatea de acasa gogosi cu zahar pentru a ne da la pachet ♥ Este o amintire draga mie si doar lipitorile de pe noi umbresc putin din farmecul momentelor pentrecute cu ai mei! Acum ca stau si ma gandesc mai bine, inteleg perfect de ce mama nu prea venea cu noi :)))

Cumva, dupa atatia ani, am reusit sa ma intorc in acest loc pentru a poza aceasta tinuta. Atat topul cat si pantalonii le puteti gasi la Tom Tailor ( cred ca este putin cam evident ca sunt din acelasi magazin) si cea mai interesanta parte, este ca le gasiti la reduceri. Pe langa acest set, gasiti si multe alte produse extrem de dragute si preturile sunt mega atractive. Va invit si pe voi sa mergeti intr-unul din magazinele lor si va garantez ca sigur va gasiti ceva!

Acum sunt curioasa, voi aveti un loc al vostru, de suflet, la care va ganditi si care va aminteste de clipele frumoase petrecute in copilarie?

Last week I had the chance to attend for the first time the Creators Festival. If I am not wrong, it was the second edition and believe it or not, it was a pleasure to go there and meet so many people that are so amazing and creative.

Luana convinced me to go and I was a bit skeptical just because the weather was a bit moody that day and we also had a bit of rain, right before leaving to the festival. In the end, the decision was made and we took the risk, without having at least an umbrella :)) All in all, it was the right decision because the rain stopped minutes before our arrival and everything was just perfect.

We took some great pictures, we socialized, we had some fun and last but not least, we have created new memories.

I won’t keep you longer because I know that some of you are getting ready for Easter. I want to send all my good wishes to you and have a wonderful time with the dearest ones.

I wanted to share this outfit with you for a few days now but somehow my schedule was chaotic and I continued to postponed it from one day to another. You already know from my Instagram account that in the meantime I also made a change of look and my hair is not like this anymore but soon, I will take some shots with the new me and share them here too ♥

Going back to the outfit. It’s more like an experiment :)) I became addicted to Hoodies and I am trying to combine them in different ways in order to wear them as much as possible. Just to inform you, I bought 4 of them in different colors: Pink, grey, white & yellow :)) It really sounds like an addiction or maybe I was just a compulsively buyer!!

If you are interested in buying one, well the offer is quite large and you can find all the colors on brands like: Champion, Kenzo, Moschino.

And in the mean time I just found some great deals, meaning they have a super price and a nice discount ( no more than 40$ = @ 150 lei) on those from: Fila, Kappa and Levi’s.

And now, the shoes!!! You may find the outfit strange and there is no problem, I find it too!! But this is the main reason behind the ” Cinderella from the block”. The outfit is straight from the hood, but the sandals are from my favorite cartoon and there is no need to mention it again.

I know hers were made out of glass and mine are too: Plexiglass indeed, not as expensive and custom made, but I find them really precious and cute in the same time. I have to tell you that I felt the need to come with something super girlish in order to change the sport direction of the outfit.

I had the chance to buy the last pair (lucky me, they were my size) from Casadei, but you can find many other gorgeous pink sandals on Shopbop. Between all the shots, you’ll see one of me wearing sneakers too.

The ugly sneakers trend is still here to stay. Mine are from Balenciaga, but if you’re searching for a more afforadable version, just be sure to check Fila, Ash & Puma.

Last but not least, another addiction is the transparent bag. I wear it all the time and some might say it’s the only bag I own :)) Make sure you check the Staud collection because you’ll find this model on different colors and sizes. It’s a must to have a bag like this!!

This is the last time I am going to tell you about my flu :)) It’s a promise because I feel a bit better and have a good feeling about it. I think in 2-3 day I will be back on track, in my best shape ♥

I am also telling you this because, as stupid as it may sound, I wore this outfit only to take these pictures :)) I wanted to create contend and regardless my bad condition I got out, meet Oana for 30 min maximum, take the shots and get back home under my pillow! So yes, I am going to wear it again, probably really soon because I love it and I also felt really good in it.

You might have seen already, but this season it’s a lot about jumpsuits. I already had a blue denim one from the previous season ( if you remember, I wore it last September during MFW) but once I saw this white one, I knew I had to have it. You can find it online on Jessica Buurman shop and as a matter of fact, I think you need to know that I ordered L and it fits perfectly. It’s not only about how large it is but also it’s at a limit on the body length. I am 173 tall and it was essential to have a proper size.

Regarding the bag, I had to improvise: It’s a small DKNY bag into a transparent no name bag. I searched a bit and found similar ones that come together. You’ll find some direct links to those suggestions and it seems it is also a trend ♥ Happy to find this :))

And last but not least, you don’t know, but I wanted a pair of Balenciaga for a while now. I actually had a love and hate relation with them. I love them, but I hate the fact that they are everywhere, until the last aspect didn’t matter anymore and after a lot of time, I finally got my hands on them :)) You’ll see them a lot, I can tell this in advance :))

So today I decided to stay at home for a better recovery. I got a horrible flu and since I was in Milan for a  week, I kind of delayed some of the activities I had and all of them had to be done upon my return. This sounded great in theory but since I feel really weak, in practice didn’t went so well.

Going back to my subject for today, working at home is not that bad. I am in bed, with a big cup of tea beside me ( honey & lemon included) and I decided to share with you my top 14 pairs of Sunglasses. February, from a commercial perspective, is the month of love. I am saying this because from a personal perspective, love should be celebrate every single day and in fact we don’t really need a reason to bring smiles, flowers and gifts. But somehow, I still enjoy it, because it forces us to take time for the loved ones.

But beside the wonderful feeling of loving others and making them happy, when was the last time you said YES to yourself? That’s a question Tom Tailor asks in their new campaign and I have to admit, this is something that deserves everyone’s attention ♥

Saying yes to yourself, means to love yourself the way you are, to get through the small imperfections(that we all have), to enjoy the small pleasures in life without feeling guilty in a way or another. You should remember to smile, to feel confident and above all to stop comparing yourself to others.  For example, I don’t really have role models. I believe that is good to be inspired, but in the same note, you should create your own dreams and fight for them in your own way because we are both the ones that can make them happen but also the ones that can ruin them with the negativity and pessimism that can take over our mindset.

I know it’s hard to stay 24/7  positive and I know that life is not as perfect as we want it to be. Most of the time, people tend to blame others for their disappointments or for their bad luck, but the change should always start with us. I don’t really want to write that much about motivational stuff and to give advices that I, personally, can’t always follow.

But as you know, I am always trying to stay positive and to see the bright side of everything. I also have insecurities and deceptions, as we all do, but it depends on me how I get through them and taking into consideration that I only live once, I want to make the most of it.

We just got back from our trip to Austria and I decided to share with you some of my favorites spots and to let you know how our holiday went, since there is a lot to tell.

But I will try to make a version of  a “long story short”.

So, since it was a spontaneous trip, everything was set up super fast and 2 days after we decided for it, we hit the road. Since we live in Bucharest, Romania, we actually made 2 days by car until we arrived in Solden, Austria, with a one night sleepover in Hungary.

The bad part of it, was the fact that it snowed  the entire trip and thus we actually made more than 24h on the road, instead of 18h as it should have been on normal weather conditions.  This was also the reason behind the fact that we did not arrived in time to take some nice shots in Hallstatt, because we arrived after sunset and thus the light was gone. Still, I managed to take a panoramic view of the most pictured city in the world ( at least that’s what they say) and if you did not knew, the Chinese managed to replicate the city in their country. As impossible as it sounds, I googled it and it is a true 1.1 replica. I knew they are actually the best when it comes to replicate the bags, shoes and clothing but this is a whole new level.

Anyway, just in order to skip this amazing city and continue my story, I will tell you that it will remain on my travel wishlist and hopefully I will manage to visit in once again this year ♥

Once we finished with Hallstatt ( faster than we anticipated), we went for the final destination, Solden. It sounds a bit scary, if you think about the movie, but believe it or not, once again, for a normal trip of one hour an a half, we actually drive for almost 6 hours. So it was a horrible road but in the end we managed to arrive at our host, Mount Everest Apartments. As you may expect, we rent a one bedroom apartment with a living room and a nice equipped kitchen. And the most amazing part of it? For sure it was the terrace that had a perfect view and the cherry on top was the river at bottom of the mountain. It was so peaceful to hear it, especially during the evening while the snow was falling.

Since I did not managed to take some shots on the terrace, because our trip was shortened due to some sad motives, I will leave you a picture of the river and I will continue with some pictures I took on the mountains while having some fun with the snowboard.

What’s nice about Solden is the fact that you can enjoy up to 144 km of slopes suitable for beginners, advanced and experts when it comes to winter sports. Even more, at 3048m above sea level you’ll find out an amazing restaurant, Ice Q, which is actually a well known tourist attraction due to the fact that some parts from the James Bond Spectre movie was filmed there. During one of our days on the slopes we got there to take a look and make a reservation on a sunnier day. I’ve heard that the view is amazing up there but sadly, we did not managed to honor it for the same sad reason that brought us back home unexpected.

And a difference I’ve noticed beside the numerous slopes, comparing to our mountain destinations, was the fact that the bars and restaurants were located somewhere on the slopes and not at the bottom of them as we constantly see in Romania. Of course they have also restaurants in the city, but I found it interesting how they decided to position them. Also, really interesting was the peas and sausages soup I have eaten in one of the restaurants. It was actually the first time I had it and when I first saw it, believe it or not, it was really strange and kind of disgusting. You may not know, but I love to experiment and try new things and in the end it was really delicious.

As you can see, my ass was as wet as possible :)) It sounds funny, but since I am a beginner, I take a lot of breaks and also I fall a lot… true sad story. But I get up over and over again, trying to be better every single time. I can say I had some success with this, because an improvement is really visible.

Last but not least, we also managed to take a day off from the slopes and went to Aqua Dome. It’s a thermal spa, 15km away from Solden. It was quite interesting to wear a swimsuit and stay into the outside pool while it snowed and we had -5 Celsius degrees. I can say it was a must try activity and we couldn’t missed it.

We did not managed to try/see them all, but it was actually the best decision we have made, to turn back home. I have no regrets and it was for our best.

Maybe at some point, I will have the chance to visit Solden again and for sure I will not skip Hallstatt on our way there :)) and also Ice Q will be on our list + I will manage to take more outfit shots too hahaha.

There are always lot of things I want to do, but sometimes I feel that I don’t have enough time. Maybe I am not that good at time management, but for this new year, this is one thing I want to work on. I want to be more efficient, to travel more and last but not least, to find that time to enjoy the things I have in my life. But well, my resolutions are for another story.

When I become addicted to something, I usually must have it. This was the case of this amazing pair of boots from Alexander Wang from my favorite online shop ( HERE). It was actually love at first sight and since I wanted them for almost two months, I started searching for outfit inspirations from persons that already own them.

This is how I ended up with the great idea to also share with you some of the celebrities that wear them. This is a clear sign that I had to have them and I will show you by the end of this post, some of my favorite.

I am extremely happy that the last few days were sunny and I was able to get out in a black short skirt. On the other hand, sadly, I cannot say the same thing about today, since in Bucharest is really cloudy and they say we will have a maximum temperature of 19 Celsius degrees…brrr.

Thus, I feel the need to tell you that I wore this outfit on Monday and I wasn’t feeling any cold at all. But regardless of the skirt, I have to tell you that this Green Sweater made my day, even if the Autumn landscape is turning into different brown shades.
