Just decided to write this kind of blog post in which you can find some inspiration, by having all the outfits I wore in a month with links and details about each item. I usually post them on Instagram and it’s not that difficult to find them, but by having all of them in one place I thought it will be easier.

So here you have the first post and let’s consider it a test. Since it’s the first one ever and also the first of the month, I will start with January: winter outfits combined with some that might look like autumn/spring just because the weather was a bit chaotic and we had a bit of everything. Sun, snow, cold and moderate temperatures ❤️

With no further ado, let’s start this series and I will be more than happy to know what you think about this idea.

At the end of the previous month, as you might already know from my Instagram Account ( @manuelalupascu), I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal. What started as a one day trip, ended up in a night + 2 more since it was the first time ever I and traveled to this city.

So, this post will be divided in two parts and I will take them in a chronological way and guess what?! I will start by complaining the fact that I had a white night before the flight and it ended in the same note, making them 2 white nights in the end. From Bucharest to Lisbon you have only one option for departure & arrival if you want a direct and fast flight. This means you’ll fly from Bucharest to Lisbon at 6 a.m. ( imagine you have to be at 4 a.m. in the airport) and you’ll come back with a flight at 23:10 and  arrive in Bucharest at 5 a.m..

But once you arrive in Lisbon, every “sacrifice” will worth. During our first day, we had to attend the C&A event where we got a preview of their ss19 collection. I will later on attach some pictures from their fashion show and I am sure that you’ll find some amazing items that will become a must have, once they hit the stores, even more because they have a really good price/quality ration + a great design that suits different tastes.

Everything started with a socializing moment on the terrace of the Tivoli hotel. One glass of prosecco, two pictures with the amazing view we had, some appetizers an we were ready to go to the venue to continue our experience. From the hotel to the final location, we had the opportunity to travel by tuc tuc and the driver was passionate enough to tell us stories about the amazing Lisbon history. I have to tell you that I love to travel, but I love even more to discover more specific things about the city I have the chance to see. Is not always only about the Instagram pictures but also about knowledge and culture I have the chance to develop.

I have to admit, that this year, the setup was unusual but amazing at the same time. We had an improvised waterfall, a lot of burning candles, nature and a dramatic light that covered the entire room. Once the show started, I have tried to captured the best outfits ( the ones I loved the most) but also to enjoy the entire atmosphere and believe it or not, it was extremely difficult.

As for our extra days, we managed to visit some of the major tourist attractions. I will leave you here with some pictures & also, I have created a short vlog for you to see more. I think I must get used to the filming activity and to introduce myself more in the video :)) But well, since it’s more like a travel vlog, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

I had to post more about this press trip a while ago, but I was a bit busy and delayed it. It was an amazing experience, the second one for me with C&A in Dusselforf, for their AW18 collection.

As the last time, we were a really nice group: Bloggers, stylists and people from the biggest magazines in Romania. Sure, the same happened for the rest of the countries that took part at this amazing presentation, but nevertheless, for me, we were one of the most united groups there ♥

I have to thank Emanuel Iuhas for the invite and C&A for the amazing organization. I admit, this one was even better than the first Collection Room I attended last year! Congrats on you guys and I really look forward to see you next season too!

I have prepared a short slide with my favorite outfits from their new collection that will be available in stores & online starting with mid August. Beside the attendance at the Collection Room, we had also the chance to explore a bit the city and to create some memories once again. Ioana, we skipped our bubble waffle “tradition” :)).

I will leave you with the rest of the pictures and stay tuned, cause on Monday we leave for a new experience and I am thinking of creating also a new travel vlog ♥

Asteptam de ceva vreme sa vina primavara si recunosc, cu prima raza de soare zarita, fara sa stau pe gandutri, am iesit din casa! Destinatia? Orice local cu terasa si cafea buna. Imi doream sa stau la soare si sa simt cum mi se incalzeste fata fiindca de frig ma saturasem.

Dar astazi vreau sa va povestesc putin si despre activitatile mele din perioada rece, cu multa zapada. O data cu venirea teoretica a primaverii, C&A si-a lansat magazinul online european, iar eu a trebuit sa imi comand ceva. Spun trebuie, pentru ca imi place foarte mult directia de stil pe care au abordat-o in ultima vreme, imi plac hainele din ultimele colectii extrem de mult, dar imi doream sa descopar si experienta de shopping de pe site-ul lor.

Concluzia? Un site pe care este foarte usor sa gasesti produsele dorite, customer friendly as putea spune, care pentru moment este disponibil doar in limba engleza si au o singura moneda de tranzactionare (euro). Cu toate acestea nu cred ca veti avea vreun impediment in plasarea unei comenzi, fiind 2 aspecte cu care suntem cu totii obisnuiti.

Alte 2 aspecte “tehnice” si dupa trecem la haine ! Exista un pret unic pentru transport de 4,95€, iar firma de curierat este DHL!!!! Tinand cont ca transportul este efectuat pe teritoriul UE, va garantez ca livrarea o sa fie super rapida si eficienta. Valoare comenzilor nu trebuie sa fie mai mica de 19 euro, iar pentru retur, din pacate nu se poate face in magazine, ci prin Posta Romana, gratuit.

Iar acum, despre comanda mea ♥ Cu bucurie va spun ca pe site gasiti Colectia de Primavara/Vara 2018, pe care ati avut ocazia sa o descoperiti alaturi de mine anul trecut in prezentarea de la Dusseldorf! Predomina imprimeurile, insa eu am fost putin tematoare, tinand cont de vremea de afara si am decis sa las imprimeul doar pe geanta si sa imi aleg o geaca de piele intoarsa intr-o superba  nuanta de rosu ♥

Cat despre pantaloni si tricou, sunt destul de basic, dar as putea spune ca sunt doua produse ce nu ar trebui sa lipseasca din garderoba nimanui!

Sper ca vestile sa va incante si sa va usureze experienta de shopping. Eu de ceva timp am renuntat sa mai merg in magazine fiindca mi se pare extenuant, iar shopping-ul online m-a ajutat sa economisesc timp si energie.  Un singur sfat mai am: Incercati sa cititi atent detaliile despre masuri ce se regasesc in Size Guide. Astfel nu o sa aveti nevoie de retur si cu timpul o sa vi se para si mai usor!

I am back from London for around 2 weeks and I finally managed to take some time to tell you about my entire experience with both the city and the fashion week ♥

It all started on Feb 16, when I took the plane and for the first time the flight destination was London. I saw pictures, I am in love with the Great Britain’s history and I was fascinated by all this. So, I had quite expectations and dreams about how the experience will be. Even more, it was my second FW experience after Milan, where it was amazing.

We arrived right in the first day, when the shows already begun and sadly it was impossible to attend the 2 shows that I had. But we had enough time to explore the city a bit aven more since we stayed basically 2 minutes away from the London Tower.

Everything was chill and relaxed during our first day, but as you may guess, we had to prepare for what was about to come: full days of shows, street style and walking from one place to another. Don’t get me wrong, it’s extremely exhausting but I loved it, regardless all the wounds I had from my “comfortable” shoes :)).

Beside the 5 shows/showrooms that we had the chance to attend, the street style was quite great. I loved the outfits I saw and even more to see what a true influencer is. No, I am not talking about me, but I am taliing about the well know bloggers with a history in FW. They were all flawless, photographers love them and believe it or not, they are all really nice and they smile all day long, even if, I bet they are also super tired of changing outfits, taking pictures and running from one show to another.

Last but not least, I love the city vibe: crowded but really clean, it architecture… and of course I discovered even more about their history & their traditions. Loved it and for sure I will return some day. In the same note, I am happy to check one of the destinations I wanted to see this year ♥ Next will be Barcelona and I am still thinking if I will repeat the experience also in Autumn or check only Milan… We shall see.

In aceasta seara am decis sa va impartasesc mai multe despre experienta avuta in Dusseldorf, unde am fost pentru prezentarea SS18 C&A. Pe scurt o noapte de cazare si 3 de nedormit, insa cu siguranta a meritat fiindca m-am simtit extraordinar in compania celor cu care am fost si desigur vreau sa ii multumesc lui Emanuel pentru invitatie.

Desi am pornit spre aeroport la ora 3 A.M., va spun sincer ca nu am putut sa dorm nici macar pe avion. Ma simteam super obosita dar entuziasmul era mult prea mare pentru a reusi sa inchid ochii, macar pret de cateva minute. Doar o scurta escala la Varsovia a mai stat in drumul nostru, iar la ora 10 (local) eram deja in Dusselforf, pregatiti sa facem repede check-in-ul si apoi sa descoperim orasul si sa mancam ceva de pranz.

Toata plimbarea, m-am rugat doar sa am o camera cu view, recunosc, acesta este primul lucru pe care il cer cand ajung la orice hotel. Insa de data aceasta m-am abtinut si doar am sperat. Insa cum ” what goes around, comes back around”, camera 1518 a fost a mea. Sa precizez ca am avut etajul 15 din 17 si aveam vedere direct catre centrul orasului? Probabil ati vazut deja asta insa am fost mega incantata ♥

Teoretic, puteam sa ma pun in pat 30 min inainte sa ma pregatesc de eveniment, dar am deci sa continui numararea orelor nedormite si sa stau pe telefon :)) Cu atat mai mult cu cat din 30 min nu inteleg nimic: pana adorm dureaza ceva, atipesc 10 min si acelea panicoase, fiindca ma gandesc sa nu intarzii.

La 16:30 eram deja in lobby, asteptand sa ne grupam pentru a merge la showroom-ul C&A. O experienta minunata si multe persoane cu zambetul pe buze ce asteptau cu nerabdare acelasi lucru: Sa descopeer noile piese perfecte pentru primavara/vara.

Spre finalul serii, desi m-am simtit extrem de bine, tot ce mai vedeam in fata ochilor era patul, justificat as spune.

Iar  a doua zi, cu parere de rau a trebuit sa ne intoarcem inapoi acasa, dar nu inainte de o scurta sesiune de shopping + un pranz delicios.

Iar la final, am dat cu batul in balta si am intarziat 15 min fiindca mi-am dorit si pofteam inca de cand am ajuns sa mananc Bubble Waffle :)) Silly, I know!

Va las cu cateva poze si desigur, va invit sa vedeti si primul meu vlog!!

Desi miercuri, prognoza meteo anunta marele viscol ce avea sa ne tina in case, in loc sa merg la supermarket sa imi fac provizii pentru o saptamana si jumatate pe care aveam sa le termin in aceeasi seara, dupa cum ati observat poate doar coafura s-a stricat iar eu am ales sa merg la evenimentul C&A din Sun Plaza pentru a sarbatori diversitatea si individualitatea fiecarei femei si pentru a incuraja increderea in sine.

“Toata lumea merita arate si sa se simta bine, in ficare zi”. Acesta este unul dintre principiile fondatoare ale brandului si noul motto “Feel Good Fashion” cred ca li se potriveste de minune. O data cu participarea la acest eveniment, care este unul de suflet, am acceptat cu drag si invitatia lor de a participa in prezentarea de moda alaturi de Ioana Dumitrache si de alte fete, amintindu-mi cu drag de perioada in care lucram ca model. Eu eram singura cu ceva experienta in acest domeniu, insa ce mi-a placut, a fost diversitatea, emotiile si promovarea unor modele care de fapt sunt persoane normale, pe care le vedem in jurul nostru zilnic, cu defecte dar si calitati, ce nu se inscriu in acele tipare perfecte de 90-60-90.

Kristina Buttner, Brand Marketing Director C&A Europe, explica: “Decenii la rand am vazut diferite standarde de frumusete, trenduri pasagere si valori trecatoare, insa C&A a vrut sa isi asculte clientele pentru a descoperi ce anume le face pe le sa se simta frumoase. Colectia C&A Toamna/Iarna 2017 exploreaza 3 directii stilistice: Casual, Tailoring si Essentials. Prima dintre acestea contine piese usor de purtat si integrat in garderoba oricarei femei moderne: vestele din blana ecologica, jachetele Parka cu detalii brodate si rochiile cu imprimeuri vesele.

Miercuri seara am fost invitata sa descopar intr-un cadru restrans noul magazin C&A ce avea sa se redeschida pentru public, urmatoarea zi, 23 Martie, in Mall Sun Plaza.

Trebuie sa va recunosc, inainte de toate, m-am simtit ca un copil “pierdut” seara dupa inchidere la mall, asa cum vedeam in filme, singura printre multe rafturi de haine, ca si cum tot magazinul era doar pentru mine. Exagerez… putin, nu mult, fiindca intr-un magazin cu o suprafata de 2100m patrati ce se imparte pe 2 etaje cu articole din cele mai diverse precum produsele de dama, de barbati, adolescenti, copii si belelusi dar sa nu uitam de lenjerie, accesorii si moda XL, cele aproximativ 30 de persoane prezente erau impartite in functie de zonele de interes ale fiecareia, incat puteam sa raman in filmul meu pentru cateva minute in plus si sa ma bucur de magazin asa cum imi doream ♥

O sa puteti observa si voi atat in clip cat si in pozele pe care o sa vi le arat ca magazinul si-a schimbat designul foarte mult, iar din punctul meu este foarte cool. In plus, nu doar au decis sa combine designul cu functionalitatea iar rezultatul este pe masura: o experienta de cumparaturi total noua, in care clientilor o sa le fie mult mai usor sa gaseasca punctele de interes fiind extrem de bine plasate si individualizate.

Nu va mai tin de vorba, daca tot este weekend si nu aveti planuri, ce spuneti de o sesiune de shopping? Va invit si pe voi la C&A in Sun Plaza fiindca in acest weekend, la cumparaturile de peste doar 150 RON beneficiati de -20% reducere ♥

Eu zic sa nu mai stati pe ganduri si sa va faceti drum la mall!!

Good evening loves! Since it’s my first post this year, I want to start by wishing you all Happy New Year. May your dreams come true and don’t forget to work your ass for them because otherwise they will be just dreams.

I have so many plans for this year, many are made for for a short period of time and the other ones need a bit more time to get shape. But for sure, I will share them with you and hope that you’ll remain close because it will be a great year. I will start by attending my fist Fashion Week next month and even if I love Paris so much, I have picked Milan ♥ Can’t wait for this amazing experience and stay tuned because it will be insane.

About the outfit, there is not much to say. I started from my new army jacket and the rest were picked basically because they were my fav items: casual black t shirt, ripped jeans, the already famous hat and a comfy pair of green boots. You already know this model but I have mine from Choies at a super price. Remember to check the I was wearing section because you’ll find there all the links to each item.

Buna seara in primul rand tuturor!

Abia am reusit in cele din urma sa ma mobilizez si sa va scriu pe blog fiindca in ultima vreme am fost destul de obosita si mereu pe drumuri iar acest lucru trebuie sa recunosc, din pacate, mi-a afectat activitatea cu atat mai mult cu cat am incercat sa pastrez in programul meu si orele de sala.

Insa, dupa cum ati vazut deja pe Facebook si Instagram, miercuri seara am fost la Iasi pentru un eveniment extrem de minunat, organizat in singurul magazin CLOCKHOUSE de sine statator din Europa de Est.  Ma bucur ca am avut ocazia sa cunosc mai multe fete si bloggerite din Iasi si da, este adevarat ce se spune despre moldovence: toate sunt frumoase foc ♥ si desigur sa ma revad cu fetele cu care am ocazia sa ma intalnesc mai des precum Deea, Sandra, Andreea si Daniela! Always a pleasure to be around you all!!

Cu aceasta ocazie am lansat oficial campania acestora prin care puteti castiga un Voucher in valoare de 2000 ron dar si colectia de Toamna/Iarna 2016.
