So today I decided to stay at home for a better recovery. I got a horrible flu and since I was in Milan for a  week, I kind of delayed some of the activities I had and all of them had to be done upon my return. This sounded great in theory but since I feel really weak, in practice didn’t went so well.

Going back to my subject for today, working at home is not that bad. I am in bed, with a big cup of tea beside me ( honey & lemon included) and I decided to share with you my top 14 pairs of Sunglasses. I picked the ones I am wearing the most, with prices from $10 up to $1000. I admit that some I consider them to be investments, while some are simply pairs that I adore and because they look good they find a place into my collection.

At the end of the previous month, as you might already know from my Instagram Account ( @manuelalupascu), I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal. What started as a one day trip, ended up in a night + 2 more since it was the first time ever I and traveled to this city.

So, this post will be divided in two parts and I will take them in a chronological way and guess what?! I will start by complaining the fact that I had a white night before the flight and it ended in the same note, making them 2 white nights in the end. From Bucharest to Lisbon you have only one option for departure & arrival if you want a direct and fast flight. This means you’ll fly from Bucharest to Lisbon at 6 a.m. ( imagine you have to be at 4 a.m. in the airport) and you’ll come back with a flight at 23:10 and  arrive in Bucharest at 5 a.m..

But once you arrive in Lisbon, every “sacrifice” will worth. During our first day, we had to attend the C&A event where we got a preview of their ss19 collection. I will later on attach some pictures from their fashion show and I am sure that you’ll find some amazing items that will become a must have, once they hit the stores, even more because they have a really good price/quality ration + a great design that suits different tastes.

Everything started with a socializing moment on the terrace of the Tivoli hotel. One glass of prosecco, two pictures with the amazing view we had, some appetizers an we were ready to go to the venue to continue our experience. From the hotel to the final location, we had the opportunity to travel by tuc tuc and the driver was passionate enough to tell us stories about the amazing Lisbon history. I have to tell you that I love to travel, but I love even more to discover more specific things about the city I have the chance to see. Is not always only about the Instagram pictures but also about knowledge and culture I have the chance to develop.

I have to admit, that this year, the setup was unusual but amazing at the same time. We had an improvised waterfall, a lot of burning candles, nature and a dramatic light that covered the entire room. Once the show started, I have tried to captured the best outfits ( the ones I loved the most) but also to enjoy the entire atmosphere and believe it or not, it was extremely difficult.

As for our extra days, we managed to visit some of the major tourist attractions. I will leave you here with some pictures & also, I have created a short vlog for you to see more. I think I must get used to the filming activity and to introduce myself more in the video :)) But well, since it’s more like a travel vlog, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Weekendul ce s-a incheiat nu a fost poate cel mai minunat pentru mine. Ca din senin, am racit destul de puternic si efectiv am stat in casa incercand sa imi recapat puterile, fiind extrem de slabita. Ironia sortii, asa cum imi spun prietenii, este ca nu am racit pe toata durata iernii, purtand haine subtirii si cu gleznele la vedere si am reusit sa racesc acum, la 25 de grade.

Dar totul este bine cand se termina cu bine ♥ Am avut grija sa ma refac repede, fiindca imi doream ca astazi, la inceput de saptamana, sa impartasesc cu voi 2 tinute noi.

Cum Primavara si-a intrat in drepturi, Tom Tailor a decis sa lanseze o a doua colectie capsula in colaborare cu nimeni alta decat Naomi Campbell( poate ati vazut deja, prin postarile mai vechi si parte din prima colectie). De data aceasta am ales o rochie neagra lunga, cu influente boho si o fusta midi cu print floral pe care am ales sa le combin astfel incat sa obtin doua tinute cu doua stiluri diferite. Camasa clasica alba, este de asemenea Tom Tailor dar nu face parte din colectia capsula.

Recunosc, ambele tinute ma duc cu gandul la vacanta. In plus, nici nu se puteau nimeri mai bine, tinand cont de mini vacanta de 1 Mai. Daca va uitati la prima tinuta, in care am incorporat fusta plisata cu print floral, ei bine desi poate o considerati putin office, am ales sa pun o pereche de adidasi pentru un aer mai casual. Cu siguranta puteti schimba directia acesteia si oricand sa inlocuiti incaltarile cu o pereche de pantofi cu toc. Camasa basic a fost optiunea perfecta in combinatia aleasa de mine, dar si aici puteti aduce modificari stilistice, fusta fiind extrem de permisiva din acest punct de vedere.

Dar va las sa va convingeti si singure ♥

Si acum, a venit randul rochiei negre cu influente boho. Primul gand cand am compus aceasta tinuta, a fost clar la o vacanta in Grecia. Nu am fost poate cea mai inspirata cand am ales incaltarile, cu siguranta mergeau perfect niste sandale de tip gladiator scurte, pe care de altfel le aveam in masina. Dar fara sa ma uit in oglinda, am fost foarte mandra initial de combinatia facuta, pana am vazut pozele.

Dar rochia, sa revenim la rochie. Va spun, fiind vaporoasa, desi este neagra, m-am simtit extrem de bine in ea. As putea spune ca este perfecta pentru temperaturile din aceste zile, iar micile detalii cu siguranta o sa va atraga atentia: nasturii din zona decolteului, umerii decupati si manecutele fluide aduc un plus acestei rochii.

Sper ca v-au placut cele doua tinute prezentate astazi si astept cu drag sa imi spuneti care este tinuta voastra preferata!

Intre timp, va urez o mini vacanta placuta in continuare!

Pentru astazi v-am pregatit o postare speciala fiind vorba despre o colectie si mai speciala: Tom Tailor tocmai a lansat colectia capsula in colaborare cu Naomi Campbell, chiar in timp pentru Sarbatori. Nu cred ca este persoana care sa nu stie de Naomi Cambell pentru aparitia ei in clipul lui Michael Jackson, din faimoasele prezentari Victoria’s Secret sau pentru impresionanta ei cariera de model.

Si fiindca a lucrat atat de mult timp printre haine, cred ca aceasta colaborare reprezinta un pas firesc in cariera ei. Negru este culoarea predominanta, insa accentele aurii aduc touch-ul personal si plin de farmec al renumitului supermodel. Rochia pe care am ales-o este cu siguranta preferata mea si da, chiar cred ca este ceva ce Naomi ar purta si cred ca o reprezinta pe deplin. Desigur, aceasta piesa nu o sa arata niciodata la fel pe mine… imi lipsesc acele picioare interminabile, dar am adaptat-o stilului meu si sunt extrem de multumita de rezultat, de calitatea produsului si a materialului din care este realizata.

Puteti gasi intreaga colectie in magazinele Tom Tailor, sunt curioasa care sunt produsele voastre preferate. Eu am ales si un hanorac negru foarte dragut cu un mesaj scris cu auriu, dar pe care o sa vi-l arat cu alta ocazie. Jacheta este de asemenea disponibila in magazine ♥
