I know that these days we stay more at home and try to fight this horrible virus. In this regard, I just hope that you are all safe and healthy. I know that self isolation is hard, but it’s the only thing that it can actually make the difference. I have mixed feelings like anxiety because I am a super active person but in the same time I feel happy for having time for myself first and second because I get to spend some quality time with the dear ones.

Do you remember those days when you wanted so bad to have a few free days? Just try to think about it and it will mentally help you to get through this period. I have to admit that I sleep a lot, exercise everyday and most of all, I am paying more attention to my skin and my needs.

Last but not least, I am doing some online shopping :)) I know, it’s not as important as the problems we deal with nowadays, but we all need a moment to breath and enjoy the moment. Plus, as I am always telling you, smart shopping is the key to a well organized dressing.

In all this chaos, beside everything else, I am mostly proud of a new cute little bag from Fendi ordered from Shopbop ♥ Can’t wait to show it to you, but for the moment is in transit and first I need to disinfect it once it will arrive :)) But I don’t know when I will be able to take some nice outfit pictures again. Let’s hope for the best and in the mean time, after I will use all the pictures made in advance, I will start taking pictures of myself in the house :))

Moving on, aside online shopping, I will miss going into the Mercari stores to find some goodies. Everytime I entered one of their stores, I left poorer :)) but with so many amazing items for which I have no regrets. As it is the case today, the blazer and the classic white shirt are from Mercari. But for the moment I cannot advise you to just go outside and check their items. But be sure, since I am staying home, I am also saving money :)) No fuel, no dinners in the city and so on. Just the essential food and some basic bills that must be paid monthly :)).

Girls, just be safe and safe nowadays means to stay home.

Today I want to talk about some boots. But not just any boots, I will talk about the wants that drove the entire planet crazy: we all want to have them in as many colors as possible, to wear them all year long because they are suitable from winter to summer and most important, they have an affordable price and it’s amazing how they become super addictive and desired.

Yes, I am talking about the Dr. Martens boots ♥

I have to admit, I am crazy about them too. I first started with the burgundy ones because at the moment, it was the only color available in my size :)) As I previously told you, they get out of stock rapidly and last year it was extremely difficult to put your hands on a pair. Nowadays, it’s the same situation, but I’ve learned my lesson and in order to get the next pair, I was a little stalker :)).

And this is how I get to the second pair: the white Dr. Martens boots. I wanted to share some of the outfits I wore and as you can see, they are super versatile, because they can go well with skirts, dresses and jeans too, no matter the season. In fact, I found the white pair, as I was searching for a black pair, but as expected, my size was nowhere to be found. Regarding the size, please be careful when you pick it, if you’ll place an online order: sizes are listed in US Size on SHOPBOP and it’s a bit different from what you’re normally used to, to be more precise, with the European sizes, but if you check the size conversions, there will be no mistakes.

Now, I will leave you some outfits that might inspire you and if you’re not already in love with the boots, maybe you’ll change your mind a bit. Don’t worry, I have some more, because another pair, another color will follow :))

And now, last but not least, the moment has arrived. At one year distance from the first pair of boots I’ve bought, the time has arrived and I finally managed to buy the so wanted black pair of Dr. Martens boots. It was the pair I wanted the most and I was happy to find out that they have launched an all black one, without the classic yellow touch.

Another important aspect that I want to mention, is that the burgundy pair, together with the black one are vegan. What does it actually means? The fabric is faux leather and believe me, the quality is amazing. I would not have even thought for a second that they are not made out of leather.

Also, as you can see, I bought all the 3 pairs with platform. This is the Jadon version, but you can also find pairs with low sole, plus the colors and prints come in many options. You’ll just have to search and find the pair that suits you the most and I will assure you that they will became an addiction :)).

Last week I had the chance to attend for the first time the Creators Festival. If I am not wrong, it was the second edition and believe it or not, it was a pleasure to go there and meet so many people that are so amazing and creative.

Luana convinced me to go and I was a bit skeptical just because the weather was a bit moody that day and we also had a bit of rain, right before leaving to the festival. In the end, the decision was made and we took the risk, without having at least an umbrella :)) All in all, it was the right decision because the rain stopped minutes before our arrival and everything was just perfect.

We took some great pictures, we socialized, we had some fun and last but not least, we have created new memories.

I won’t keep you longer because I know that some of you are getting ready for Easter. I want to send all my good wishes to you and have a wonderful time with the dearest ones.

Tom Tailor has just released a brand new collection in collaboration with the well known model Toni Garrn. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, you might know her as an angel for the Victoria’s Secret fashion shows or for dating the famous Leonardo DiCaprio.

The collection is super basic, simple and with maritime influences on some of the pieces. I have to say it came at the right time in my life :)) I am so over this rainy weather and a thematic photo shoot brought me some smiles even more when I saw the results.

And before saying that is way too cold outside for this outfit, it is and you’re right. But you can already invest in some summerish outfits and when the day, THAT DAY, will come, you will be ready to look fabulous on the beach or simply on your long expected holiday, right?

This time I won’t keep you long. I know that it will be a chaotic week and most probably you want to get ready for the Easter Weekend, combined with the free days for the 1st of May.

Today I want to share with you a new outfit. It’s a bit casual/sporty and you did not saw me too often wearing such items, but Tom Tailor challenged me to tell you if there is some commitment that I have to make for myself and as a consequence this outfit was created to match it.

In this regard, first, I want to tell you that I will always want to smile. You already know this. I want to be happy, I want to share only positive vibes and last but not least, even during the hard times, a smile can change a lot. This is a commitment I want to make: Keep on smiling.

And to make my point, I decided to wear pink because it’s my happy color.

And when it’s a first, there is always a second. The casual/sport outfit was made because I also want to hit the gym again and keep it constant for at least a few months :)) And again, it’s related to the first aspect: Being active makes me happy. Looking good makes me happy. Being healthy makes me happy. And believe me, the list can continue.

But now, what makes you happy? Because you should remember to commit to yourself and put yourself first. There is a difference between resolutions and commitments especially when it comes to you. But then again, if you commit to yourself, you’ll slowly start to see the changes in every aspect of your life.

Last but not least, embrace who you are and love yourself the way you are. Not because I am saying this, but because we are all special in our own way and having a negative thinking will generate only frustrations.

This is the last time I am going to tell you about my flu :)) It’s a promise because I feel a bit better and have a good feeling about it. I think in 2-3 day I will be back on track, in my best shape ♥

I am also telling you this because, as stupid as it may sound, I wore this outfit only to take these pictures :)) I wanted to create contend and regardless my bad condition I got out, meet Oana for 30 min maximum, take the shots and get back home under my pillow! So yes, I am going to wear it again, probably really soon because I love it and I also felt really good in it.

You might have seen already, but this season it’s a lot about jumpsuits. I already had a blue denim one from the previous season ( if you remember, I wore it last September during MFW) but once I saw this white one, I knew I had to have it. You can find it online on Jessica Buurman shop and as a matter of fact, I think you need to know that I ordered L and it fits perfectly. It’s not only about how large it is but also it’s at a limit on the body length. I am 173 tall and it was essential to have a proper size.

Regarding the bag, I had to improvise: It’s a small DKNY bag into a transparent no name bag. I searched a bit and found similar ones that come together. You’ll find some direct links to those suggestions and it seems it is also a trend ♥ Happy to find this :))

And last but not least, you don’t know, but I wanted a pair of Balenciaga for a while now. I actually had a love and hate relation with them. I love them, but I hate the fact that they are everywhere, until the last aspect didn’t matter anymore and after a lot of time, I finally got my hands on them :)) You’ll see them a lot, I can tell this in advance :))

Asteptam de ceva vreme sa vina primavara si recunosc, cu prima raza de soare zarita, fara sa stau pe gandutri, am iesit din casa! Destinatia? Orice local cu terasa si cafea buna. Imi doream sa stau la soare si sa simt cum mi se incalzeste fata fiindca de frig ma saturasem.

Dar astazi vreau sa va povestesc putin si despre activitatile mele din perioada rece, cu multa zapada. O data cu venirea teoretica a primaverii, C&A si-a lansat magazinul online european, iar eu a trebuit sa imi comand ceva. Spun trebuie, pentru ca imi place foarte mult directia de stil pe care au abordat-o in ultima vreme, imi plac hainele din ultimele colectii extrem de mult, dar imi doream sa descopar si experienta de shopping de pe site-ul lor.

Concluzia? Un site pe care este foarte usor sa gasesti produsele dorite, customer friendly as putea spune, care pentru moment este disponibil doar in limba engleza si au o singura moneda de tranzactionare (euro). Cu toate acestea nu cred ca veti avea vreun impediment in plasarea unei comenzi, fiind 2 aspecte cu care suntem cu totii obisnuiti.

Alte 2 aspecte “tehnice” si dupa trecem la haine ! Exista un pret unic pentru transport de 4,95€, iar firma de curierat este DHL!!!! Tinand cont ca transportul este efectuat pe teritoriul UE, va garantez ca livrarea o sa fie super rapida si eficienta. Valoare comenzilor nu trebuie sa fie mai mica de 19 euro, iar pentru retur, din pacate nu se poate face in magazine, ci prin Posta Romana, gratuit.

Iar acum, despre comanda mea ♥ Cu bucurie va spun ca pe site gasiti Colectia de Primavara/Vara 2018, pe care ati avut ocazia sa o descoperiti alaturi de mine anul trecut in prezentarea de la Dusseldorf! Predomina imprimeurile, insa eu am fost putin tematoare, tinand cont de vremea de afara si am decis sa las imprimeul doar pe geanta si sa imi aleg o geaca de piele intoarsa intr-o superba  nuanta de rosu ♥

Cat despre pantaloni si tricou, sunt destul de basic, dar as putea spune ca sunt doua produse ce nu ar trebui sa lipseasca din garderoba nimanui!

Sper ca vestile sa va incante si sa va usureze experienta de shopping. Eu de ceva timp am renuntat sa mai merg in magazine fiindca mi se pare extenuant, iar shopping-ul online m-a ajutat sa economisesc timp si energie.  Un singur sfat mai am: Incercati sa cititi atent detaliile despre masuri ce se regasesc in Size Guide. Astfel nu o sa aveti nevoie de retur si cu timpul o sa vi se para si mai usor!

Sometimes…

You have to understand that life is not perfect, it doesn’t bring you only the best experiences and it gets you through all kind of challenges. This is life, bitter & sweet at the same time.

But with all these, in life we need to learn from our mistakes. They are not easy, sometimes we get hurt on the process, but I’ve heard a good one recently: “There is either a win or a learning, never a defeat”. Nothing can get you down except yourself.

During my bad times, I have learned that I have to be strong, to keep on hoping and  to never lose my smile. Life is easier when you see it in pink and when you find the strength to smile and always think that tomorrow you have the chance to fight again against anything that disappointed you.

Be a better person and encourage the ones around you to do the same. I always had compassion and I wanted to help people as much as I can. Don’t get into that negative mindset and don’t tell yourself that people will get advantage of your kindness. They will anyway… but at least you can always get an idea of whom you must surround yourself by.

You may not find a direct connection between my words and the pictures, but there is one. For the first time in my outfit posts, I find beauty in these dark pictures, where you can barely see my face, but you can see the hope behind me. Pink always makes me smile and brings me a positive vibe. It’s been a hard period for me, nothing really bad happen, it was mainly a problem with myself… but I always tried and I will continue to see the bright side.

Since yesterday evening is raining continuously and my mood is really cozy right now and I am writing this post from my sofa with the tv on. I think that this kind of days are perfect if we need a break from the day to day activities, even more since it’s Easter Monday and we have a free day.

Regardless the weather today I will propose you a happy outfit full of colors and smiles. In fact, I have to confess that this is the first pair of yellow pants that I own. I don’t know what was in my mind at the time of buying them, but I was actually looking for colors like: pink, red, orange, greed and I ended up with this.

Beside the pants, I felt the need to add a simple denim jacket and some accessories that will bring a special touch to the entire outfit, like the bag, the sunglasses and those simple white espadrilles. I guess that sometimes, when we got something new, we feel the need to wear them with the first occasion and this was also the case today :))

The Shopbop order arrived like, super fast and I was amazed by their professionalism. I wanted to have them before the Easter and even if the order was placed on Tuesday evening, the package was in my hand on Friday morning. I hope that you also enjoyed the sales and also the items you ordered.
