We just got back from our trip to Austria and I decided to share with you some of my favorites spots and to let you know how our holiday went, since there is a lot to tell.

But I will try to make a version of  a “long story short”.

So, since it was a spontaneous trip, everything was set up super fast and 2 days after we decided for it, we hit the road. Since we live in Bucharest, Romania, we actually made 2 days by car until we arrived in Solden, Austria, with a one night sleepover in Hungary.

The bad part of it, was the fact that it snowed  the entire trip and thus we actually made more than 24h on the road, instead of 18h as it should have been on normal weather conditions.  This was also the reason behind the fact that we did not arrived in time to take some nice shots in Hallstatt, because we arrived after sunset and thus the light was gone. Still, I managed to take a panoramic view of the most pictured city in the world ( at least that’s what they say) and if you did not knew, the Chinese managed to replicate the city in their country. As impossible as it sounds, I googled it and it is a true 1.1 replica. I knew they are actually the best when it comes to replicate the bags, shoes and clothing but this is a whole new level.

Anyway, just in order to skip this amazing city and continue my story, I will tell you that it will remain on my travel wishlist and hopefully I will manage to visit in once again this year ♥

Once we finished with Hallstatt ( faster than we anticipated), we went for the final destination, Solden. It sounds a bit scary, if you think about the movie, but believe it or not, once again, for a normal trip of one hour an a half, we actually drive for almost 6 hours. So it was a horrible road but in the end we managed to arrive at our host, Mount Everest Apartments. As you may expect, we rent a one bedroom apartment with a living room and a nice equipped kitchen. And the most amazing part of it? For sure it was the terrace that had a perfect view and the cherry on top was the river at bottom of the mountain. It was so peaceful to hear it, especially during the evening while the snow was falling.

Since I did not managed to take some shots on the terrace, because our trip was shortened due to some sad motives, I will leave you a picture of the river and I will continue with some pictures I took on the mountains while having some fun with the snowboard.

What’s nice about Solden is the fact that you can enjoy up to 144 km of slopes suitable for beginners, advanced and experts when it comes to winter sports. Even more, at 3048m above sea level you’ll find out an amazing restaurant, Ice Q, which is actually a well known tourist attraction due to the fact that some parts from the James Bond Spectre movie was filmed there. During one of our days on the slopes we got there to take a look and make a reservation on a sunnier day. I’ve heard that the view is amazing up there but sadly, we did not managed to honor it for the same sad reason that brought us back home unexpected.

And a difference I’ve noticed beside the numerous slopes, comparing to our mountain destinations, was the fact that the bars and restaurants were located somewhere on the slopes and not at the bottom of them as we constantly see in Romania. Of course they have also restaurants in the city, but I found it interesting how they decided to position them. Also, really interesting was the peas and sausages soup I have eaten in one of the restaurants. It was actually the first time I had it and when I first saw it, believe it or not, it was really strange and kind of disgusting. You may not know, but I love to experiment and try new things and in the end it was really delicious.

As you can see, my ass was as wet as possible :)) It sounds funny, but since I am a beginner, I take a lot of breaks and also I fall a lot… true sad story. But I get up over and over again, trying to be better every single time. I can say I had some success with this, because an improvement is really visible.

Last but not least, we also managed to take a day off from the slopes and went to Aqua Dome. It’s a thermal spa, 15km away from Solden. It was quite interesting to wear a swimsuit and stay into the outside pool while it snowed and we had -5 Celsius degrees. I can say it was a must try activity and we couldn’t missed it.

We did not managed to try/see them all, but it was actually the best decision we have made, to turn back home. I have no regrets and it was for our best.

Maybe at some point, I will have the chance to visit Solden again and for sure I will not skip Hallstatt on our way there :)) and also Ice Q will be on our list + I will manage to take more outfit shots too hahaha.

There are always lot of things I want to do, but sometimes I feel that I don’t have enough time. Maybe I am not that good at time management, but for this new year, this is one thing I want to work on. I want to be more efficient, to travel more and last but not least, to find that time to enjoy the things I have in my life. But well, my resolutions are for another story.

As you already know, last week I was in London with Skechers to party and to discover the new One Piece style. I am happy to say that beside the great experience that we had,  I was also, for the second time in London this year.

Last year, I’ve made a travel wishlist with the city I want and I hope to visit during 2018. London was between them and in February I’ve visited it for the first time. Somehow, it seems that when there is a first, it will always come a second… obviously, but I didn’t thought that it will come that fast, in the same year. The only sad part, I would say, is the fact that I didn’t manage to visit it as a real tourist. In between shows and events, I always see it through the window of the cab.

Anyway, moving on, for sure there will be a third time and I promise myself to get time to visit it properly.

Regarding the Skechers adventure, I was a bit scared. Not because something bad could happen, but just because it was the first time when I traveled alone. Regardless of my fears, everything went super smooth and the team ensure every single details so that we all feel good and comfortable and I want to thank them for this.

Basically I had only 24h to enjoy the experience. After landing, the driver was waiting for me at the airport and after a one hour driving and talking about their incredible city, I arrived at the hotel. Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch was my home for one night. This place is amazing, I can tell, with an incredible lobby, spacious rooms with comfy beds and their terrace with a really good view.

As always I didn’t get to spend much time in the room, because we had to get ready really fast and go to the party. We were only 5 minutes away of walking but still, I always find the clock to be my worst enemy :)) and we also had to eat something because I, for example, had only a yogurt in the morning while waiting my flight.

Before the party, I got my hands on the new pair of Skechers one piece sneakers. As you might guess, I prepared an outfit and well, they came with me on the dancefloor. A lot of cool people waiting in line to enter the party, cool music and at least one hour to show our best moves. Oh, I almost forgot: we also had prosecco. What’s a party without some sparkling wine and delicious cocktails?

The next day, I had the flight at 3p.m. Since I met Isabella on the lobby, actually we kind of stared at each other on the lobby and had a proper meet on the terrace, we got along really well. So she had a similar flight and we decided to go out in the morning ( at 9a.m.) to shoot some outfits. We had some adventures and she knows what I am talking about, but believe me, these will be our secret :)).

All in all, I had 24h in style, full of memories and I want to thank Skechers for everything. This is the part I love the most in this job. I have the chance to travel and to meet amazing people from different countries and we are all united by the same hobby and passion.

Hope to have the chance to create more memories like this.

Dupa cum ati vazut deja, weekend-ul trecut am avut ocazia sa ajung in Delta Dunarii pentru prima data. Totul s-a intamplat foarte repede, iar aceasta mica escapada a fost “planificata” cu doar cateva zile inainte, dupa ce Deea m-a sunat si mi-a spus: “Manuela, in weekend ne distram in Delta. Esti libera?”. Entuziasmul atingand cote maxime, evident ca raspunsul nu s-a lasat asteptat si intr-o fractiune de secunda am spus ” Let’s do this”.

Mi-am facut bagajul, mi-am luat efectiv strictul necesar (desi poate va vine greu sa credeti am avut decat o geanta de gym) si nici nu stiu cand au trecut zilele fiind apoi deja in masina in drum spre Murighiol impreuna cu Iustin, Deea si Maria, toti 4 fiind nerabdatori si pregatiti pentru ce avea sa urmeze.

Am ales sa plecam cu Agentia Discovery, iar aceasta s-a ocupat de intreaga experienta: drumul de la Murighiol cu barca pana in Crisan (localitatea unde am fost efectiv cazati) care a durat aproximativ o ora si jumatate, timp in care  am admirat flora si fauna deltei pe canalelei acesteia. In egala masura, va pot spune ca am ramas surprisa de “traficul” de acolo. Este un fel de Bucuresti la ora de varf (exagerez putin), dar barcile cu turisti erau atat de multe incat fara sa vad foarte multe, mi-am dat seama de potentialul locului si de faptul ca oamenii sunt entuziasti si interesati de aceasta zona unica.

Mai mult, am avut ocazia sa vizitam cea mai nordica padurea subtropicala si de asemenea cea mai veche rezervatie naturala din Romania ce se regaseste in Letea, sa mergem cu o trasura si sa ne lasam condusi de caii salbatici, dar desigur imblanziti de localnici, sa vedem dunele de nisip si lianele incolacite de trunchiurile copacilor.

Dupa aceasta experienta, cei doritori si pasionati, au putut sa pescuiasca la pluta. Este o alta activitate frecvent intalnita in Delta, dar va recunosc, nu a fost ceva ce mi-am dorit sa incerc. Imi aminteste de cand eram mica si mergeam cu tata la pescuit si ma plictiseam destul de tare. Nu ma intelegeti gresit, am fost pentru relaxare, dar pescuitul pentru mine, necesita multa rabdare, iar mie de multe ori imi lipseste :)) Dar “captura” celor care au pescuit, va spun, a fost impresionanta.

Un lucru este cert: experienta a fost pe masura si ma bucur ca am avut ocazia sa descopar un loc atat de frumos. Avem o tara superba si este pacat ca toate vacantele pe care le avem sa se desfasoare numai in afara acesteia.

Multumesc Agentiei Discovery pentru aceasta experienta care cu siguranta mi-a ajuns la suflet.

Voi ati fost pana acum in Delta Dunarii? Sunt curioasa cum a fost experienta voastra, daca v-a placut si daca dupa terminarea vacantei ati fost super zen ca si mine ♥

I know it’s been a while since I got back from our summer holiday, but today I want to share with you another amazing place in which we had the pleasure to stay while we were the second time in Bangkok.

Beside the fact that it looks great and that their services are always on point, Ad Lib Hotel has also a great positioning, being 5 minutes away from the sky train and 10 minutes away from the biggest adult playground… well, what can I say, my boyfriend could have been happy IF he came alone :))

Here is what they say about themselves: “We are not here to reinvent the hotel, but to make sure that it keeps up with the times and delivers what it promises. We believe that real hospitality begins with real people – people who love to live, appreciate the little things that matter, and genuinely care about the happiness of others. We have no room for formal service standards and scripted conversations. Feel free to order breakfast at midnight and walk around in your socks. Our only goal is that you will always feel a sense of warm welcome and leave remembering – as with all the best memories that last – the people you happened upon, rather than the food, the coffee, or the interior design (although we think they’re rather special too).”

Believe me, this is the real truth. Placed near one of Bangkok’s older roads, Sukhumbit, you can enjoy both local and international lifestyle while many tourists come around to shop and have a great time ♥ Sadly, I couldn’t enjoy my entire stay here, because on our second day, maybe due to the heat and because I tried to eat the local food, I started to have a horrible headache and a bad belly pain that kept me in the room. This was not a complete disappointment because I stayed only at the hotel and enjoy all the services they provide: we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and we stayed a bit by the pool just to relax and enjoy the amazing view.

You should check their website for more details and information, but believe me, the price/quality rate is amazing and is the kind of place you should stay at, if you plan a trip to Bangkok, Ad Lib is the hotel you should consider.

After a wonderful experience in Ubud, it was about time to explore another part of the Balinese island and we moved to Seminyak for the sun, tan & beach experience.

We decided that we will continue the private villa experience and checked in at Cicada Luxury Townhouses. I feel like this place needs no more introduction or any other detailed explanation because the pictures will speak for themselves but I will still talk a bit about it.

In these villas you will enjoy the luxury at its fullest. The modern villas and all the great details putted together give you the perfect holiday vibe with a feeling of “just like home”. Since we were two, obviously that we decided on one bedroom villa. This kind of villa come, as it is understood with one bedroom, one big living room with a small kitchen, a small private pool and an outfit bath ( beside the inside shower that was amazing too).

Beside that they have many facilities that most tourists want to enjoy while being on holiday: in room spa and beauty treatments, the big pool where you can swim, complementary a la carte breakfast either in the room or by the pool and all day in room dinning.

What I liked the most? I don’t know if I can answer to this question with only one thing, but I would say everything. But when I travel, I like to have big rooms with space to move between the luggage that I have. Also since I am the type of traveler that likes to visit almost all day long at some point when I get back to the accommodation I want to relax a bit before going to sleep and in this case I could do this either by the private pool or by taking a warm bubble bath that was right in front of our bedroom.

Also, do I have to tell you about their breakfast? You have to pick your favorite and they will bring it: American, Indonesian? They have it and believe me you also have to try their specific food because it is amazingly delicious. We try all of them because usually I like to enjoy the traditional food of each place I have the chance to visit because no where will be the same. Yes, we have restaurants nowadays with Indonesian food, but believe me, is not getting even closer to the original flavor.

And I will end my story about this amazing place by telling you that everything I wrote is really true and from my own experience. Coming as a proof is the fact that Cicada Luxury Townhouses was the winner of the Luxury Travel Guide, Global Awards in 2016 and now, in 2017 is between the nominees.

Can we ask for more? I don’t think so

It`s been a while since my last outfit post, but I have lots of pictures and outfits to share with you from my holiday and since the internet was not that good all the posts were delayed for when I get back home together with the vlogs.

So, I will start today with another post from the most amazing Villa of my Holidays :)) Each corner of this place was so Instagramable and not only, that I pictured so many items in here because I couldn’t resist, even if we are talking about swimsuits, shorts, bathrobes and as it is the case today, elegant dresses.

In combination with the white & wood deco, I think that this violet dress from Almaaz Couture looks stunning and believe it or not, I decided to just contour a bit my eyebrows and to use a lipstick because he light also seems to cover all my imperfections too.

Maybe this dress will seem a bit too much for a jungle holiday, but I had a good reason behind my decision to take it with me: during our stay it was also my loves Birthday and so I had to pick something nice and a bit sexy to celebrate him, don’t you think ♥

Today I will tell you more about the beginning of our Asian trip. At the moment I am preparing to change places from Ubud, Bali to Seminyak, Bali. But first things first

We had everything packed and on 10th of June we took our first flight to Frankfurt in the evening, at the local hour. A small stop, a change of planes and we were right on our way to Bangkok. We decided to fly with Lufthansa, because at the moment when we bought the plane tickets it was the best option, taking into consideration the number of flight hours ( around 13) and also the price.

The only inconvenience, was the fact that our first stop was in Vienna initially , but it has changed and we had to go via Frankfurt and to add like 3 more hours to our flight and a longer waiting in the airport. A white night has followed, because I couldn’t sleep in the airplane, but since I was really enthusiastic I did not felt the flight so bad and we were already in Bangkok.

We spent only 2 nights in this amazing city. We picked FX Metrolink Hotel, which has a direct connection to the main airport and we had to get down at the Makkasan station. It was really easy to find it and lucky us, we managed to save some money and to go by the metro. The hotel was also really close to the  city metro station, called Petchaburi that we found really useful since it got us to the city center really fast.

We had some adventures on our way here, but everything went just fine in the end. For example,  had like 4-5 lighters and in Frankfurt I was suspected of having explosive :)) I think they just wanted to have to fun because I had 4 in my purse and those were the only ones they saw… while still having 2 on my jacket pocket, that I forgot about.

And another funny one, even if for us, at the moment was really disturbing, was the fact that on our second day, we w

anted to visit the Grand Palace. We did not knew that it is closing at 3p.m. but actually we were quite in time since we arrived in China Town aroung 1:30 p.m. and decided to take a tuk tuk to take us there. But come on… the driver stopped after 30 m to buy cigarettes, he told us that he will take us to visit another palace and also to a really great shopping area. All in all sounds great, but the small palace was not so impressive as the Grand Palace and the shopping area was more like a small local store with jewels produced locally, made to measure men clothing and some souvenirs… The thing we were going to discovered was the fact that the drivers always take to to these kind of shops because they get free gas if you spend there at least 15min and it doesn’t really matter if you buy something or not.

But getting back to our main problem, was the fact that this experience last for more than expected and we arrived at the Grand Palace at 15:03, so guess what?!?! The Palace was closed and I can bet that the driver knew the closing hour. Without a useless trip where we saw basically nothing, we would have arrived at 13:45 at the Palace and had time to visit it. If you plan a visit, just be careful because for one more euro they are willing to do different things and just keep you away from the schedule.

Just to keep our day still busy, we only had the opportunity to take the boat around, I don’t really know what :)) and after that we went to Lebua to have dinner at their Sky Bar, but we ended up at another restaurant a few levels lower, by the pool because we were not dressed properly, meaning that Iustin was wearing shorts and they have a smart casual dress code. So this is one more thing you need t0 know about this place if you want to have the most amazing

view in Bangkok.

Also the prices for tuk tuk are very different… :)) Some may ask you 25 or 35 Euro or $ while the ride costs no more than 6-7.

Anyway, we will still have the chance to visit the Grand Palace, even if at the moment we are in Bali, cause our departure will be made from Bangkok and we will stay there for 3 more nights. I will keep you updated if we will have a bit more luck.

Incep saptamana cu vesti extrem de bune. Dupa cum va spuneam urmeaza cateva proiecte extrem de dragute, printre care si participarea la Milano Fashion Week. Trebuie sa recunosc, sunt extrem de nerabdatoare cu atat mai mult cu cat mai sunt aproximativ 2 saptamani pana la plecare si tinand cont ca partenera mea… de prostii :)) o sa fie Deea Codrea cred ca lucrurile o sa fie minunate.

Este o nebunie totala, creat tinute, ales accesorii, perechile perfecte de incaltaminte si in plus au mai ramas si cateva intalnirii pentru a stabili restul detaliilor.

Contrat asteptarilor, partea cea mai simpla a fost cu rezervarea zborului si alegerea cazarii… desi aparent pentru multe persoane cautarea vacantei perfecte este un calvar care pare ca nu se mai termina :))

Norocul nostru a fost sa gasim agentia care s-a ocupat de tot, inclusiv de adaugarea bagajului extra de care vom avea nevoie. Dupa, totul a decurs extrem de bine si usor, avand o grija in minus.

Va recomand cu drag agentia si voua, se numeste Top Fly si o puteti gasi foarte usor pe retelele de social media, dar va las si link direct catre acestea: Facebook Page, Instagram account.

Cat despre ofertele lor nu mai zic: preturi foarte bune concepute astfel incat sa fie potrivite pentru bugetul fiecarui client si foarte important este majoritatea se pot achita si in rate. Cand vine vorba de destinatii, oferta este foarte vasta, avand posibilitatea de a alege vacante atat in Europa cat si in tari exotice.

Nu in ultimul rand, voucherele de calatorie pentru cadouri personalizate, pot reprezenta cea mai buna variante mai ales in aceasta perioada urmata de Valentine’s Day, 1 si 8 Martie dar si de zile de nastere sau de ce nu, cadouri surpriza ce nu sunt legate de un eveniment ( sunt cele pe care eu personal le prefer cel mai mult :D).

Ca sa nu va mai retin, la sfarsitul postarii gasiti si o super oferta, nu va spun mai mult acum, dar cu siguranta este ceva ce o sa va placa ♥

Buna seara in primul rand tuturor!

Abia am reusit in cele din urma sa ma mobilizez si sa va scriu pe blog fiindca in ultima vreme am fost destul de obosita si mereu pe drumuri iar acest lucru trebuie sa recunosc, din pacate, mi-a afectat activitatea cu atat mai mult cu cat am incercat sa pastrez in programul meu si orele de sala.

Insa, dupa cum ati vazut deja pe Facebook si Instagram, miercuri seara am fost la Iasi pentru un eveniment extrem de minunat, organizat in singurul magazin CLOCKHOUSE de sine statator din Europa de Est.  Ma bucur ca am avut ocazia sa cunosc mai multe fete si bloggerite din Iasi si da, este adevarat ce se spune despre moldovence: toate sunt frumoase foc ♥ si desigur sa ma revad cu fetele cu care am ocazia sa ma intalnesc mai des precum Deea, Sandra, Andreea si Daniela! Always a pleasure to be around you all!!

Cu aceasta ocazie am lansat oficial campania acestora prin care puteti castiga un Voucher in valoare de 2000 ron dar si colectia de Toamna/Iarna 2016.
