V-am promis aceasta postare de aproximativ o saptamana si astazi m-am mobilizat! Stiti ca noi mergem destul de des in Brasov, indiferent de sezon, asa ca pentru astazi v-am pregatit o recomandare de cazare si sunt absolut convinsa ca o sa va placa.

Este unul din orasele noastre preferate din Romania, fiind foarte ofertant si un lucru este cert, cel mai mult timp il petrecem in sezonul rece fiindca mergem sa ne dam cu placa. Da, probabil pentru multi alegerea unei cazari in Poiana ar parea o idee mai buna, insa noi imbinam utilul cu placutul.

De ce? O sa va povestesc in cele ce urmeaza ❤️

Dar intai de toate, vreau sa va spun ca anul trecut am avut ocazia sa ma intalnesc pur intamplator in centrul orasului cu proprietarii apartamentului. Un cuplu tanar, cu mult bun gust in ceea ce priveste simtul estetic, minunati si super sociabili. Eu spun ca am rezonat din prima secunda si sper sa fie reciproc sentimentul, asta pentru ca am stat la povesti aprox 30 minute in mijlocul strazii si nici nu stiu cand a trecut timpul.

Am pastrat legatura si anul acesta, cu prima ocazie ne-am dorit sa ne cazam la Voya Apartments ( ii gasiti pe Booking si pentru a fi directionati puteti da click direct pe nume sau pe Instagram Aici) Sunt 2 apartamente situate unul langa celalalt si noi l-am ales pe cel mare fiindca planuiam sa stam mai mult daca partia din Poiana era intr-o stare mai buna si implicit am avut multe haine la noi sau mai bine spune “la mine” .

Dar sa revin si la motivele datorita carora alegem de cele mai multe ori sa stam in Brasov. Cand vacanta dureaza mai mult de 5 zile, preferam sa avem totul la indemana. In primul rand, apartamentul este situat la o distanta mica de mers pe jos fata de centru, ceea ce face ca plimbarile de seara sa fie o placere, mersul la restaurant nu exclude un pahar de vin fiindca nu depindem de masina si last but not least, este mult mai usor sa comandam prin glovo mancare din oras, comparativ cu optiunile disponibile din Poiana ( nu toate restaurantele aleg sa livreze pana acolo)

Intr-adevar, exista si drumul dus-intors care trebuie facut zilnic pana la partie dar nu mi se pare ca este peste mana! Ba mai mult, in cazul in care nu vreti sa cautati prea mult timp loc de parcare in Poiana, statia de bus care duce pana la buza partiei este la 3 min de mers pe jos. So, long story short, pozitionarea este una perfecta din punctul meu de vedere si va puteti bucura atat de oras cat si de munte ❤️

Cat despre apartament in sine, va pot spune ca este extrem de spatios, CURAT lucru foarte important pentru mine, luminos, are foarte multe dotari si este extrem de frumos! Aveti loc de parcare chiar in fata usii, o terasa micuta in exterior ( pentru fumatori si spun asta pentru ca am primit intrebarea pe instagram, dar este un spatiu de care se poate bucura oricine) si apa calda cu presiune mare nu de alta, dar stiti ca in Bucuresti avem probleme, pe cand la Brasov este totul bine.

Un alt aspect pozitiv este ca ofera serviciul de self check-in, orice intrebare aveti, raspund rapid fiind mega draguti si aveti cateva ” treats” din partea casei! Noua chiar nu ne-a lipsit nimic, poate doar zapada ca sa mai ramanem cateva zile. Nevertheless, o sa vedeti ca acest review este facut cu toata sinceritatea si va veti convinge de acest lucru la urmatoarea noastra vacanta cand voi posta pe stories & insta feed din acelasi loc❤️

Pe langa cateva poze si detalii despre tinute, majoritatea compuse din costume de baie si ochelari de soare :)) vreau sa va ofer si cateva informatii utile cu privire la cum am ales locatia in care am stat, cum am ales sa calatorim, formalitatile pe care a trebuit sa le respectam pentru a intra in Grecia si nu in ultimul rand, cel mai “interesant” aspect, detalii despre testul COVID.

So, let’s take them step by step. Dorinta de a merge undeva, oriunde… in vacanta a fost extrem de mare vara aceasta, cu atat mai mult cu cat a fost acea perioada destul de lunga in care am stat in casa. Cu toate acestea, tinand cont de contextul actual, ne-am dorit sa calatorim cat mai safe, sa nu avem contact cu foarte multe persoane necunoscute si sa eliminam cat mai multe riscuri.

Primul aspect dupa care ne-am ghidat, a fost sa cautam destinatii unde putem ajunge cu masina. Momentan, recunosc, imi este putin teama sa calatoresc cu avionul si sa stau intr-un spatiu inchis cu foarte multe persoane. Multe variante au fost eliminate rapid fiindca ne doream sa nu facem o vesnicie pe drum si sa avem acces la mare. Scurt si la obiect, Bulgaria sau Grecia ♥

Am ales a doua varianta desi era mai indepartata si conditiile de intrare in tara mai stricte. Dupa cum bine stiti, trebuie facut testul covid si completata o declaratie, dar o sa ne intoarcem la acest aspect mai tarziu putin. Motivul? Salonicul fost prima noastra destinatie de vacanta in afara tarii, la inceputul relatiei. Va recunosc, a fost o vacanta in care ne-am distrat, ne-am relaxat, eu am si muncit( poze, poze, poze) dar in care am simtit emotia prin toti porii, mai ales cand mergeam in locurile de mult vizitate ♥

Cazarea am ales-o fiindca am putut beneficia de free cancelation. A fost un criteriu extrem de important tinand cont ca in orice moment grecii puteau interzice accesul romanilor la ei in tara. Mai mult decat atat, poate ati remarcat ca am stat intr-o vila si asta se datoreaza faptului ca am fost destul de reticenta la ideea de a sta intr-un hotel si de a da “nas in nas” cu alte persoane pe coridoare, in lift samd. In plus, am avut toate conditiile necesare si chiar ceva in plus.

O data decizia luata, a trebuit sa ne informam cu privire la formalitatile si procedurile pe care trebuia sa le urmam pentru a intra in Grecia si 2 lucruri erau clare:

1. Testul Covid ( PCR) valabil 72 ore de la recoltare. Am avut de cautat clinica potrivita fiindca multe ofereau rezultatul dupa cele 72 h de la recoltare si implicit testul devenea invalid. Asa am ajuns la Gral Medical care garanteaza rezultatul in max 48 h de la recoltare si spre surprinderea mea, a ajuns mult mai repede. Cu o saptamana inainte de plecare, am sunat pentru programare si am gasit loc exact la ziua si ora dorita. Desi testul a fost facut la ora 10 dimineata, seara in jur de 21:30 am primit rezultatul pe mail!!

Indiferent unde alegeti sa mergeti pentru a face testul, este foarte important ca rezultatul sa fie si in limba Engleza!

* Costul testului a fost de 350 lei. Exita si varianta de a merge direct la clinica unde puteti face testul in regim de urgenta dar aceasta optiune vine la un cost suplimentar. Din ce am inteles, costa 550 lei. It’s good to know if you’re in a hurry.

• Doare? Sa stiti ca nu este chiar atat de rau pe cum se vehiculeaza. In primul rand, recoltarea se face din nas & din gat si nu dureaza mai mult de 1 min. Senzatia neplacuta exista, dar nu este ceva tragic si dureros. So, cei care se vaita, they do it for the show. Cand a bagat acel betisor in nas, a usturat foarte putin si mi-au dat lacrimile instant, dar cam atat. Cand am iesit din incapere eram ca noua. :))

2. Completarea unui formular de intrare in Grecia. Va las link-ul AICI! Acest formular trebuie completat cu o zi inainte de plecarea in Grecia. Eu am plecat Vineri seara si Sambata eram la granita. Ca sa intelegeti, am completat Vineri si la scurt timp dupa mierzul noptii (00:05) am primit formularul completat si insotit de codul QR ( din ce am fost informata, acest mail il primiti mereu dupa ora 00:00, nu mai devreme). In baza acestui cod si impreuna cu rezultatul testului, cei de la vama vor decide daca repetati sau nu testul Covid.

* in cazul nostru, fiind 2 persoane in masina, vamesul a decis ca doar unul dintre noi sa repete testul. A fost Iustin, my brave one si spre deosebire de testul realizat in Bucuresti, aici au recoltat mostra doar din gat.

Si un extra point:

3. Cat am stat in Vama? Am auzit de cozile interminabile create pe timp de zi, unde durata de asteptare se vehicula ca este de pana la 7-8 ore. Acestea fiind spuse, am ales sa plecam noaptea si prin urmare la ora 7:30 a.m. eram in vama. Va puteti imagina ca la acea ora nu erau foarte multe masini. Intr-adevar, drumul a fost putin greu si am condus pe rand, astfel incat “pasagerul” sa poata dormi putin, insa asteptarea in vama a fost considerabil redusa, am stat aproximativ 30 min si o data ajunsi la cazare, am bagat un somn binemeritat.

Iesirile noastre? Au fost destul de putine insa am putut observa ca pe plaja, la supermarket sau la restaurante oamenii respectau masurile de siguranta: Mesele erau departate, la fel si sezlongurile, angajatii purtau masti si gaseai produse dezinfectante peste tot.

Cu toate acestea, nu am putut sa nu remarc faptul ca zonele nu erau pline de turisti ca altadata. Sigur, in contextul actual este un lucru extrem de bun pentru siguranta sanatatii noastre dar in egala masura este destul de trist atat vizual cat si economic: foarte multe spatii abandonate, magazine inchise si plaje aproape goale, ocupate fiind mai mult de localnici insa intr-un numar foarte mic.

Si ca sa vorbim si de lucruri mai frumoase, mancarea a fost la fel de buna si delicioasa pe cum mi-o aminteam ♥ Eu sunt fana peste si fructe de mare. In consecinta, nu trebuiau sa lipseasca de la fiecare masa si mai mult decat atat, se simtea ca erau proaspete. Ah si sa nu uit de tzatiki cu cartofi prajiti. My fav combo, dar cu care sa stiti ca nu am exagerat, chiar daca eram in vacanta. And since there is always room for desert, nu pot spune ca am mancat foarte multe prajituri, dar o felie de pepene rosu rece nu puteam refuza niciodata

Last but not least, ziua petrecuta pe barca a fost un vis devenit realitate. Pentru mine a fost prima data cand am avut parte de o astfel de experienta si pot spune ca mi-a deschis apetitul. Stiu ca se fac vacante de cateva nopti pe barci inchiriate si in viitor sper sa ” o fac si pe asta”.

Nimic nu a fost intamplator. Proprietarul casei avea si aceasta barca la inchiriat. Cand ne-am cazat, ne-a informat cu privire la acest aspect si pentru mine decizia a fost clara, trebuia doar sa stabilim ziua si ora. Partea buna este ca am fost doar noi pe barca, la fel de feriti de persoanele necunoscute si am putut sa ne distram, sa ne bucuram de soare, de sarituri in apa si la sfarsit, de un apus pe masura.

Daca ma intrebati acum la intoarcere cum a fost vacanta, va pot spune cu toata sinceritatea ca a fost de vis. Desi am calatorit complet diferit, comparativ cu vacantele anterioare, am incercat sa ne bucuram de fiecare moment! Cu grija, cu distantare sociala si cu dezinfectantul dupa noi…cumva aceasta a devenit noua normalitate la care trebuie sa ne adaptam.

Dupa cum bine stiti, mai ca am facut din Brasov resedinta de iarna , tinand cont ca am stat cred ca aproximativ o luna si jumatate sezonul acesta :)) Sincer, imi doresc sa avem acolo un apartament/o casa astfel incat sa petrecem mai mult timp la munte, dar despre asta poate o sa vorbim cu alta ocazie. Oricat de minunate au fost vacantele trecute, aceasta a fost extrem de speciala fiindca am fost pentru prima data cu mami ♥

Totul a pornit de la invitatia celor de la Honda Romania de a testa noua noul model CRV Hybrid. Am avut un weekend la dispozitie si va pot spune ca trasel si atractiile turistice nu au iesit exact cum am planuit pentru ca nu ne-am trezit la ora “programata” insa in final, experienta a fost una minunata.

Pana acum, nu v-am vorbit prea mult de masini, dar sincer va spun, eu chiar sunt pasionata de ele. Mai in gluma, mai in serios, prietenii imi spun ca fac Uber pe ascuns tinand cont de kilometrii pe care ii adun la bordul fiecarei masini cu care am mers :)). De aprox 5 ani de cand am permisul, am condus atat masini manuale cat si automate, stiu toate gropile si gurile de canal din Bucuresti,  am fost personal in service cu masina si am pus 192346 intrebari astfel incat sa inteleg ce se intampla si nu in ultimul rand am condus sedan-uri, suv-uri si coupe-uri!! Inca nu am ajuns la dube si tiruri dar nu este timpul pierdut :))

Nu o sa intru in specificatiile tehnice foarte mult, insa vreau sa va spun ce mi-a placut mie la aceasta masina, fiindca lista este destul de lunga:

1. Daca ne raportam la partea de aspect, mi-a placut extrem de mult varianta pe care am avut-o si anume modelul Executive.

* Rosie la exterior si interior de piele bej. Desi se murdareste si sa pateaza cel mai usor aceasta culoare de piele, este in continuare preferata mea din punct de vedere estetic. Lumineaza foarte mult interiorul masinii!

* Daca tot am vorbit de interior luminos, am o afinitate aparte pentru masinile cu trapa panoramica. Si acum, pentru mine, combinatia dintre piele deschisa la culoare si panoramic = infinite love. Sincer, eu nu am mers cu trapa deschisa nici in cazul masinilor personale, fiindca mi se pare ca sunt extrem de multe noxe in oras cat si praf, dar ma bucur de panoramic la maxim.

* Extrem de mult spatiu!! Da, trebuie sa ma credeti pe cuvant. Am luat absolut tot ce ne doream cu noi si chiar a ramas spatiu gol in portbagaj. Last but not least, spatiul este extrem de ofertant si in interiorul masinii, atat pentru locurile din fata cat si pentru cele din spate. Nu mai este o noutate pentru voi ca eu ma schimb de tinute in masina  :)) Pana acum, mai mult loc in spate ca in aceasta masina eu nu am vazut ♥ Concluzia: Se poate incadra perfect in categoria de dulap umblator, dar nu unul cu doua usi, ci un dressing mare si ofertant, in cazul de fata cu 5 usi :))

2. Optiunile masinii ♥

* Pai in primul rand faptul ca este Hybrid si consumul este destul de mic pentru un SUV cu motor de 2.0 benzina

* Se poate conecta prin Bluetooth cu telefonul!!  Nu este cea mai noua optiune dar mie imi place maxim acest lucru!

* Factul ca dispune de cruise control si de sistemul pentru mentinere a benzii. Deja pe autostrada mai ca se conduce singura ♥

* Si incalzirea in scaune, care este optiunea mea preferata la masini :)) Stiti ca nu ma imbrac prea gros in sezonul rece si scaunele se incalzesc imediat.

* last but not least, senzorul de parcare ♥

Sigur, optiunile sunt mult mai multe! Cred ca acest model pe care am avut ocazia sa il conduc, le avea pe toate. Dar cand vine vorba de o masina, acestea sunt specificatiile la care eu ma uit. A fost o placere sa pot testa aceasta masina, cu atat mai mult cu cat Suv-urile sunt preferatele mele: exista spatiu, sunt mai inalte si imi ofera o stare de siguranta mai mare la drum.

Sper ca v-a placut tema de astazi. Ma gandesc sa mai vorbim despre masini :)) Poate data viitoare despre o masina mai puternica, cu mai multi cai

Dupa cum stiti, sambata trecuta am facut un tur de forta, in cautarea celor mai frumoase locuri pe care le pot vizita intr-o singura zi. Cum era de asteptat, pozele au iesit superbe ( din punctul meu de vedere ♥) insa cu un astfel de background era aproape imposibil.

La sfarsitul zilei, chiar inainte de apus, am ajuns pentru prima data aici. Lacul Sfanta Ana, un loc superb, in natura, unde te loveste linistea si parca timpul sta in loc. Voi ati ajuns pana acum?

Pe langa aceasta recomandare, vreau sa va reamintesc un lucru: GoT is over but Winter is still coming :)). Am ales special aceasta geaca rosie din noua colectie Tom Tailor pentru aceasta locatie. Stiam ca pe seara se lasa frigul si mai stiam ca rosul o sa arate genial in acest peisaj, 2 in 1.

As you might already know, last week I was in Bodrum, Turkey for a press trip organized by Prestige Tours. The program was a bit chaotic and different from what we initially agreed, but in the end I have to admit, that we had a nice experience and for me it was the first time ever I had the chance to discover the All Inclusive services :))

Regarding the All Inclusive, well, I think it was great, but believe it or not, it’s not between my fav ways of traveling because I ate a lot :)) I am one of those persons that likes to taste a bit from everything and if you do the maths, a bit of everything ends up in A LOT. You can say I am a bit greedy….but what can I do?!

Moving on, even if the schedule was more than busy, I had Oana by my side and in the end we managed to take some nice shots and create a nice content while moving from one place to another. I saw on Instagram ( www.instagram.com/manuelalupascu ) that some shots were highly appreciated and this can only bring me smiles and make me happy.

As for tourists places in Bodrum, I didn’t managed to visit a lot, so I don’t have too many spots & instagramable places to share with you. I just hope that you’ll get a hint from the outfits posts I am about to share in a few second with you.

We just got back from our trip to Austria and I decided to share with you some of my favorites spots and to let you know how our holiday went, since there is a lot to tell.

But I will try to make a version of  a “long story short”.

So, since it was a spontaneous trip, everything was set up super fast and 2 days after we decided for it, we hit the road. Since we live in Bucharest, Romania, we actually made 2 days by car until we arrived in Solden, Austria, with a one night sleepover in Hungary.

The bad part of it, was the fact that it snowed  the entire trip and thus we actually made more than 24h on the road, instead of 18h as it should have been on normal weather conditions.  This was also the reason behind the fact that we did not arrived in time to take some nice shots in Hallstatt, because we arrived after sunset and thus the light was gone. Still, I managed to take a panoramic view of the most pictured city in the world ( at least that’s what they say) and if you did not knew, the Chinese managed to replicate the city in their country. As impossible as it sounds, I googled it and it is a true 1.1 replica. I knew they are actually the best when it comes to replicate the bags, shoes and clothing but this is a whole new level.

Anyway, just in order to skip this amazing city and continue my story, I will tell you that it will remain on my travel wishlist and hopefully I will manage to visit in once again this year ♥

Once we finished with Hallstatt ( faster than we anticipated), we went for the final destination, Solden. It sounds a bit scary, if you think about the movie, but believe it or not, once again, for a normal trip of one hour an a half, we actually drive for almost 6 hours. So it was a horrible road but in the end we managed to arrive at our host, Mount Everest Apartments. As you may expect, we rent a one bedroom apartment with a living room and a nice equipped kitchen. And the most amazing part of it? For sure it was the terrace that had a perfect view and the cherry on top was the river at bottom of the mountain. It was so peaceful to hear it, especially during the evening while the snow was falling.

Since I did not managed to take some shots on the terrace, because our trip was shortened due to some sad motives, I will leave you a picture of the river and I will continue with some pictures I took on the mountains while having some fun with the snowboard.

What’s nice about Solden is the fact that you can enjoy up to 144 km of slopes suitable for beginners, advanced and experts when it comes to winter sports. Even more, at 3048m above sea level you’ll find out an amazing restaurant, Ice Q, which is actually a well known tourist attraction due to the fact that some parts from the James Bond Spectre movie was filmed there. During one of our days on the slopes we got there to take a look and make a reservation on a sunnier day. I’ve heard that the view is amazing up there but sadly, we did not managed to honor it for the same sad reason that brought us back home unexpected.

And a difference I’ve noticed beside the numerous slopes, comparing to our mountain destinations, was the fact that the bars and restaurants were located somewhere on the slopes and not at the bottom of them as we constantly see in Romania. Of course they have also restaurants in the city, but I found it interesting how they decided to position them. Also, really interesting was the peas and sausages soup I have eaten in one of the restaurants. It was actually the first time I had it and when I first saw it, believe it or not, it was really strange and kind of disgusting. You may not know, but I love to experiment and try new things and in the end it was really delicious.

As you can see, my ass was as wet as possible :)) It sounds funny, but since I am a beginner, I take a lot of breaks and also I fall a lot… true sad story. But I get up over and over again, trying to be better every single time. I can say I had some success with this, because an improvement is really visible.

Last but not least, we also managed to take a day off from the slopes and went to Aqua Dome. It’s a thermal spa, 15km away from Solden. It was quite interesting to wear a swimsuit and stay into the outside pool while it snowed and we had -5 Celsius degrees. I can say it was a must try activity and we couldn’t missed it.

We did not managed to try/see them all, but it was actually the best decision we have made, to turn back home. I have no regrets and it was for our best.

Maybe at some point, I will have the chance to visit Solden again and for sure I will not skip Hallstatt on our way there :)) and also Ice Q will be on our list + I will manage to take more outfit shots too hahaha.

There are always lot of things I want to do, but sometimes I feel that I don’t have enough time. Maybe I am not that good at time management, but for this new year, this is one thing I want to work on. I want to be more efficient, to travel more and last but not least, to find that time to enjoy the things I have in my life. But well, my resolutions are for another story.

At the end of the previous month, as you might already know from my Instagram Account ( @manuelalupascu), I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal. What started as a one day trip, ended up in a night + 2 more since it was the first time ever I and traveled to this city.

So, this post will be divided in two parts and I will take them in a chronological way and guess what?! I will start by complaining the fact that I had a white night before the flight and it ended in the same note, making them 2 white nights in the end. From Bucharest to Lisbon you have only one option for departure & arrival if you want a direct and fast flight. This means you’ll fly from Bucharest to Lisbon at 6 a.m. ( imagine you have to be at 4 a.m. in the airport) and you’ll come back with a flight at 23:10 and  arrive in Bucharest at 5 a.m..

But once you arrive in Lisbon, every “sacrifice” will worth. During our first day, we had to attend the C&A event where we got a preview of their ss19 collection. I will later on attach some pictures from their fashion show and I am sure that you’ll find some amazing items that will become a must have, once they hit the stores, even more because they have a really good price/quality ration + a great design that suits different tastes.

Everything started with a socializing moment on the terrace of the Tivoli hotel. One glass of prosecco, two pictures with the amazing view we had, some appetizers an we were ready to go to the venue to continue our experience. From the hotel to the final location, we had the opportunity to travel by tuc tuc and the driver was passionate enough to tell us stories about the amazing Lisbon history. I have to tell you that I love to travel, but I love even more to discover more specific things about the city I have the chance to see. Is not always only about the Instagram pictures but also about knowledge and culture I have the chance to develop.

I have to admit, that this year, the setup was unusual but amazing at the same time. We had an improvised waterfall, a lot of burning candles, nature and a dramatic light that covered the entire room. Once the show started, I have tried to captured the best outfits ( the ones I loved the most) but also to enjoy the entire atmosphere and believe it or not, it was extremely difficult.

As for our extra days, we managed to visit some of the major tourist attractions. I will leave you here with some pictures & also, I have created a short vlog for you to see more. I think I must get used to the filming activity and to introduce myself more in the video :)) But well, since it’s more like a travel vlog, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

As you already know, last week I was in London with Skechers to party and to discover the new One Piece style. I am happy to say that beside the great experience that we had,  I was also, for the second time in London this year.

Last year, I’ve made a travel wishlist with the city I want and I hope to visit during 2018. London was between them and in February I’ve visited it for the first time. Somehow, it seems that when there is a first, it will always come a second… obviously, but I didn’t thought that it will come that fast, in the same year. The only sad part, I would say, is the fact that I didn’t manage to visit it as a real tourist. In between shows and events, I always see it through the window of the cab.

Anyway, moving on, for sure there will be a third time and I promise myself to get time to visit it properly.

Regarding the Skechers adventure, I was a bit scared. Not because something bad could happen, but just because it was the first time when I traveled alone. Regardless of my fears, everything went super smooth and the team ensure every single details so that we all feel good and comfortable and I want to thank them for this.

Basically I had only 24h to enjoy the experience. After landing, the driver was waiting for me at the airport and after a one hour driving and talking about their incredible city, I arrived at the hotel. Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch was my home for one night. This place is amazing, I can tell, with an incredible lobby, spacious rooms with comfy beds and their terrace with a really good view.

As always I didn’t get to spend much time in the room, because we had to get ready really fast and go to the party. We were only 5 minutes away of walking but still, I always find the clock to be my worst enemy :)) and we also had to eat something because I, for example, had only a yogurt in the morning while waiting my flight.

Before the party, I got my hands on the new pair of Skechers one piece sneakers. As you might guess, I prepared an outfit and well, they came with me on the dancefloor. A lot of cool people waiting in line to enter the party, cool music and at least one hour to show our best moves. Oh, I almost forgot: we also had prosecco. What’s a party without some sparkling wine and delicious cocktails?

The next day, I had the flight at 3p.m. Since I met Isabella on the lobby, actually we kind of stared at each other on the lobby and had a proper meet on the terrace, we got along really well. So she had a similar flight and we decided to go out in the morning ( at 9a.m.) to shoot some outfits. We had some adventures and she knows what I am talking about, but believe me, these will be our secret :)).

All in all, I had 24h in style, full of memories and I want to thank Skechers for everything. This is the part I love the most in this job. I have the chance to travel and to meet amazing people from different countries and we are all united by the same hobby and passion.

Hope to have the chance to create more memories like this.

I am back for a week now from Milan Fashion Week and I finally managed to gather all the outfits, here in one post. I also created a short video that represents not even half of the experiences and activities we had, but at least I can share with you part of the Fashion Week vibe in a few minutes.

I had the pleaure and honor to be present at shows like: Ermanno Scervino, Aigner, Chika Kisada, A.F. Vandevorst, Ujoh, Francesca Liberatore, Ultrachic & Atsushi Nakashima. In between the shoes, we enjoyed some cocktails & parties at Fragiacomo, Tod’s & Iceberg and the list can continue. Even if we stayed for only 4 full days, the schedule was crazy and in our spare time, we actually went to the hotel and change our outfits + we made a fast make-up refresh :)).

I am not complaining, actually I just booked my flight and the accommodation for Milan in February. This feeling is amazing and believe it or not, it was a dream of mine to be part of it since I was little and I was watching Fashion TV and saw all the celebrities and bloggers attending it ♥

The white, blue & red outfit. Another favorite. Regardless of the color combo that I love, I think this suit… actually doesn’t suit me that well. I think that sometimes I see myself a bit different in the mirror :)). I seen it different from the pictures but I still love it.

So, as promised, today I will be telling you more about our 2 nights stay in Athens, Greece, which was a surprise trip made for my love’s B-day. Where we have stayed, how we got there and since it was just a matter of 2 days only holiday, what we decided to visit in order to make our stay wonderful.

So, first things first. I book a flight with Ryanair with 2 weeks before our departure. Be careful with your luggage: You can get 2 for free, but you’ll bring just the small one in the airplane. If you want to get both of them with you, there is a small tax that you should pay. For my own comfort, I decided to book priority with 2 cabin bags. I think it’s easier this way and you’ll have to pay around 30 euro extra for both flights. The flight was scheduled to leave at 13: 40, which was quite reasonable. No more morning wake up!

Ok, once we got in the Athens airport, we decided to go by the bus. The price of a ticket is 6 euro and the one that we took left us in Syntagma Square (was the closest station to our hotel). From this place we took Uber and the cost was around 4.5 euro. So a total of 16.5 euro to get from the airport to the hotel for two persons.

Very important!! There is no actual Uber in Greece. Even if the app is working, you cannot see the approximate price for your ride, mainly because they have the normal cabs ( Yellow ones) that will start the charging device once you get in and after you reach your destination, they will introduce the charged amount on the app. Don’t worry, you’ll still pay via Uber and the prices are really fair in the end.

For our 2 nights stay in Athens, I have picked Novotel Hotel. It is situated near the city center and the Uber ride was always around 5 euro from the hotel to the Acropolis, to the Monastiraki Square, to the Placa Square and so on.

Regarding this hotel, oh well… I had the chance to stay there, I think, 10 years ago and it was not like as I remembered. You should also check the other hotels available in the city center because I was not really satisfied with the price/quality ration.

And now, let’s talk a bit more about how we decided to plan our holiday during our stay.

       1. First day: We arrived at the hotel at 18 o’clock. We took a fast shower, change our flight clothing and went to the Acropolis. We got there somewhere between 18:30 and 19:00. Believe me, it’s the best hour to visit it during the summer because it’s almost the closing hour and most of the tourist visit it during the first part of the day. It was not as crowded as we expected and you can see this from the pictures I have took ♥

We took a small walk down to the Monastiraki Square, we bought some souvenirs and after that we stopped at a local tavern to have dinner. IMPORTANT: The restaurants are better in this area.

2. Second day: As you might guess, we started with the breakfast at the hotel and after that, we decided to go to the  Vouliagmeni Lake. Is 20 km away from the Novotel Hotel and we took Uber again to get there. The price per ride was around 20 euros and we got there in 30 min.

This place is truly amazing and I think you should include it in your must see places while in Athens. But remember to take your towels with you. I thought that they rent some and came unprepared. In the end we had to pay 17 euros per one towel, because as you can guess they don’t rent, but they sell them. I think I was not the only one and in the end because they can make quite a business out of this. The entrance price is 15 euros if I remember correctly and you can stay all day long.

In the same note, the food and drinks have a reasonable price there, but you can also check some good restaurants across the street.

– Once we got back in the city (around 18 o’clock) we took a well deserved nap and after that we went to Placa Square for dinner. WORST IDEA! The food was ok-ish, but in Monastiraki Square we ate better. Regardless of the food, the serving was horrible and the waiter seemed… quite bored with his job. This area is also good for shopping & souvenirs and it’s really active and full of tourists.

3. Third day. We decided to go back to Monastiraki to drink a coffee at A for Athens. It’s a hotel that has a roof bar with the most amazing view over the Acropolis. After that, we couldn’t resits and went back at the restaurant were we had ate on the first day and took a delicious seafood plate, tzatiki and some french fries, in order to remember Greece also for it’s food… haha. It was delicious.

-After our lunch, the adventure began. I was 100% sure that our flight was at 17:40 and that there is no rush for us to get to the airport. I couldn’t be more wrong because that was the landing hour. The flight was at 15:50 or something like this. You should have seen my face when I realized at 14 o’clock that we might loose our flight.

We took a cab, we arrived at the airport in 30′ and yes, we caught the flight. The taxi ride from the hotel to the airport was around 30 euro. The worst part of the journey was actually at the end.

Arriving at 18:00 at the airport in Bucharest, means that you’ll get the rush hour in traffic at its fullest. Our flight took one hour and 20′ from Athens to Buchares, but the same was the case from the airport to our home :(.

Nevertheless, it was a great experience and we enjoyed it a lot. You should also visit Greece!
